Reflections on Listening to Legal Reports

For today's middle school students, legal education is extremely important. The law is like our personal bodyguard, protecting us, and at the same time letting us understand the seriousness of breaking the law and reminding us. As the director said, this education will greatly improve our legal concept and our own safety awareness. Only by learning legal knowledge can we know what is legal and what is illegal, learn to distinguish right from wrong, distinguish good from evil, and form a good habit of obeying the law from an early age.
At the report meeting, a middle school student broke the law because of a cigarette, which shocked me. It can be exaggerated to say that "touching our ears is shocking", which profoundly reflects our "contempt" and weak concept of legal knowledge. At present, we have the help of our parents in life, the guidance of teachers in study and the collective leadership in society, but our awareness of self-protection has declined. Therefore, the director's report reflects the existing value.
Because of "ignorance" of the law, some students think that they have exploited the loophole of the law: robbery, intimidation and many "stupid" things that violate the law and commit crimes. The director's vivid examples tell us in plain words that even if minors commit crimes, they should bear the corresponding consequences, not because of the mercy of the law.
The legal report shows our lack of legal knowledge with typical cases, reminding me that middle school students should know, understand and abide by the law, and don't do illegal and criminal things. It also warns us to have a sense of self-protection, and the law also restricts our impulsive behavior.
The legal report will tell us to know how to protect ourselves and understand that breaking the law will definitely bear the corresponding consequences. This is certain, certain. Only in this way can our country achieve the legal goal of governing the country according to law and ensure the long-term stability of our great motherland.
