Differences between China's housing construction and Africa's housing construction.
African individualistic values are vividly displayed in the architectural styles of houses and courtyards. China people's houses are basically buildings, and their styles are basically the same; In the past, bungalows or quadrangles generally pursued the same or similar architectural style, because China people were characterized by collectivism, seeking common ground rather than seeking differences. From the aspects of design style, building materials, decoration, wall color, modeling and courtyard greening, we can see the cultural background, social class and value orientation of the owner. To be sure, in a certain area of a city, it is difficult for people to find houses with exactly the same architectural style. China's "seeking common ground while reserving differences" has become Africa's "seeking common ground while reserving differences". On the other hand, although the houses and courtyards of Africans are separated from their neighbors by a wall, the value orientation of individualism makes it impossible for them to know their neighbors and know each other as one in China. Although separated by a wall, it does apply to another idiom of China people: old age and death are not related. This once again illustrates the "self-core" values of Africans.
