After 2008, it was updated and published every three years, and each edition was constantly adjusted and improved according to the actual situation at that time, so that the research results could reflect the objective reality more scientifically and reasonably.

The research method is a multidisciplinary evaluation method combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative evaluation of core journals adopts citation times (full text and abstracts), citation rate (full text and abstracts), citation quantity (journals, doctoral dissertations, conferences), impact factors, other citation impact factors, five-year impact factors, five-year other citation impact factors, characteristic factors and paper impact scores.
