Dong Yuping's thesis
If you are not a student majoring in economics, and if you are a beginner in economics, I think it's best to take a look at the college textbooks of economics, such as Western Economics edited by Gao Hongye, which is a special textbook for our professional courses, because the textbooks formulated by the Ministry of Education are all clearly introduced by economic experts to our beginners from many foreign economic classics. Beginners should not read the works of economists directly from the beginning, because their target audience is generally not groundless. After a period of time, you can read the original, because with the support of certain knowledge, reading the original is an original excitement. There are countless books on economics, and what I want to recommend to you is paul samuelson's Economics, which is known as the encyclopedia of economics, and its practicality and popularity can also be seen. I am incompetent, but I also agree with encyclopedia. If you want to study different fields of economics on this basis, you must look at the knowledge theories of other branches of economics, such as international trade, finance, industry, system, measurement, etc. Many branches are not listed here. As for the economic works such as Das Kapital, I think it is more about economic content from a political point of view, and its effect on modern economy is far less than that of western economics, but you can also dabble in basic knowledge, but it is not suitable for intensive reading unless you are interested in doing this research. And the "currency war" mentioned by some interviewees, I think it is difficult to understand without some knowledge of financial securities. So in a word, if you really want to learn some knowledge of economics, you should start from the basics.
