The Institute of Linear Motor and Modern Drive of Henan Polytechnic University is mainly engaged in the research on the theory, application and control of special motors and their drive systems. Including direct drive technology, high-efficiency and energy-saving motor development, multiphase motor design and advanced drive technology. This paper focuses on the electromagnetic field theory and electromagnetic parameters of permanent magnet linear motor, as well as the topological structure, operating characteristics, control strategy, optimal design and optimal performance of a new electromechanical integrated linear drive system with permanent magnet linear motor as power source. Founded in the mid-1980s, the Institute is one of the earliest units in China to carry out special research on linear motors. Since 1990s, people began to study the vertical transportation system of permanent magnet linear motor. With the support of national and provincial funds and key projects, 30 national, provincial and ministerial projects, such as "Theory and Control of Linear Motor Hoisting System", have been completed. Won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress 1, 2 first prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, 8 third prizes and more than 30 national patents. Based on these projects, the horizontal transportation experimental system driven by PMLSM and the second generation linear motor mine hoisting experimental device driven by PMLSM are developed, which is three stories high and has a load of 65438 0300 kg, which is close to industrial practice and promotes the major transformation of large hoisting system from rope type to cordless type. In 2006, a variety of linear (rotary) servo motors were designed and developed in cooperation with ASM international first-class chip equipment automation company. In 2008, he was awarded the title of "Linear Motor and Modern Drive" by Henan Innovation and Technology Team. Construction and Development of Process Control Laboratory for Master Tutors in Zhang Zhan

The process control laboratory of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Automation was established in 1993. Aiming at complex industrial process objects, the theories and methods of artificial intelligence, fuzzy control and neural network are applied to industrial process control system by using computer technology. Optimize process and develop process control system and equipment. The process control laboratory is an important part of the open laboratory of the key discipline of "Control Engineering" in Henan Province. It is the main research direction of key disciplines of control theory and control engineering in Henan Province. After more than ten years' efforts, we have made unremitting efforts in the modeling and control of complex systems such as industrial boiler distributed control, glass batching production line, yellow phosphorus batching production line, cement batching production line, intelligent execution device and power system monitoring, solved many control problems and key technologies, and made great contributions to industrial process automation, mine production automation and informatization. The laboratory always insists on "aiming at the frontier direction of basic research and highlighting original research;" Facing engineering, realizing technology and integrated innovation ".
