Why is Elam civilization not a two-river civilization?
Elam is the earliest civilization in Iran, and its name has been circulated in the Bible for a long time, so it is not called the two rivers civilization. Originated in Elam region outside the Iranian plateau. It is generally believed that Elam's name comes from the city-state of Haltamti (meaning "the country of God"). Genesis chapter 10 mentions that Elam is descended from Shem, the son of Noah. However, after deciphering the inscription of Bethesda, we know that Elam is very different from Hebrew of Sem family, so we can be sure that Elam is not Sem family.
