Under the background of market economy, informationization and globalization, the work pressure of organization members, especially knowledge workers, is increasing day by day, which is closely related to the physical and mental health, job satisfaction and job performance of organization members. Stress management of knowledge workers has become an important topic in human resource management. The research of this paper is divided into two stages:
1) makes a quantitative study on the self-reports of MBA students and graduate students, summarizes the existing job stressors of knowledge workers, and puts forward the hypotheses of "benign pressure" and "inferior pressure".
2) According to the previous stage's stressor scale, the questionnaire was compiled and the knowledge workers were investigated, and then the questionnaire was statistically analyzed by SPSS software. In the statistical research, we got the following results:
(1) confirmed that there are two types of working pressure: benign and bad. "benign stress" is positively related to job satisfaction and job performance; "Inferiority stress" is negatively related to job satisfaction, but has no significant relationship with job performance.
② Verified Herzberg's "two-factor theory" about job satisfaction, namely "motivation" and "health care", and found the "harmonious factor" that may be unique to China people.
(3) Based on the classification of job stress and job satisfaction, this paper makes a correlation analysis of job stress, job satisfaction and job performance of knowledge workers, and obtains a more in-depth and detailed relationship among the three variables. Through this study, I hope to provide strong empirical support for stress management, job satisfaction and job performance improvement of knowledge workers.
