Introduction to educational papers

Pedagogy is a social science that studies educational phenomena and their laws. The following is an introduction to pedagogy that I have compiled for you. Welcome to reading.

Abstract of introduction to pedagogy

Health is the most basic requirement of human beings and the most important social goal. However, people's understanding of what health is is not completely consistent. In many people's minds, when it comes to health, it is understood that the body is not sick and the body is strong. This simple view of physical health is one-sided and ignores the importance of mental health. In children's health education, the emphasis on children's physical health education and the lack of children's mental health education are not conducive to children's all-round physical and mental development. Therefore, how to overcome the one-sidedness of the traditional health view, establish a correct health view, and completely separate health from the management scope of health care work is an important problem that needs to be solved in our current work.

Keywords: health, overall physical and mental emphasis

abstract

With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards, mental health problems have attracted more and more attention from the whole society. Paying attention to individual mental health has become an important symbol of modern civilized people. Everyone with civilized consciousness knows that the mental health level of normal people is not only related to the quality of personal life, but also directly affects their labor efficiency and contribution to society. If a person suffers from mental illness, it will become a burden to society. Every parent at all times and all over the world wants their children to grow up healthily. Parents who care about whether their children will survive in the future society when they grow up cannot help but pay attention to their children's mental health. When it comes to the development of children's mental health, I have to talk about the significance of mental health in my opinion.

First, the meaning of children's mental health

When talking about the definition of children's mental health, we can't avoid the concept of mental health.

What exactly is mental health? Mental health generally refers to a person's mental state with normal intelligence, good mood, sound personality, adaptation to the environment, harmonious interpersonal relationship and psychological behavior in line with age characteristics. Specifically, it mainly includes the following aspects:

① Have a correct understanding and objective evaluation of yourself. People with mental health have a realistic and correct understanding of their strengths, weaknesses and personality characteristics. Know what you can do and what you are suitable for; I won't be hard on myself for the impossible.

② Psychological motivation of self-confidence and self-development. People with mental health generally have clear life goals and the motivation for self-development. Therefore, in the face of difficulties and adversity, we can adjust and control our emotions, calmly treat and deal with all kinds of complex problems and keep moving forward.

③ Be able to get along well with others and be good at coordinating interpersonal relationships. People with mental health can adopt a harmonious, friendly and overreaching attitude towards people and things; Problems and contradictions in interpersonal communication can be handled in a friendly, inclusive, fair and reasonable way, and it is easy to get along with others.

④ Actively adapt to environmental and social needs. A mentally healthy person can consciously adjust the relationship between individuals and the environment, not that the environment adapts itself, but that it adapts itself to the environment. In any complex environment, on the one hand, keep your own personality and personality characteristics; On the other hand, they have the ability to foster strengths and avoid weaknesses and adapt to the needs of the environment. No matter in hard adversity or in smooth environment, they can develop themselves well.

It is difficult to judge a person's mental health with a unified standard, so general scholars believe that the adaptability of the whole behavior should be taken as the benchmark, and the existence of individual symptoms should not be overemphasized. Understanding the basic connotation of mental health can help us to judge our mental health and take corresponding mental health care measures, so as to achieve comprehensive physical and mental health.

Second, the analysis of children's mental health

Children's psychological education is based on "children-oriented", that is, children are taken care of as people with equal personality with adults. Teachers should not lose "respect" and "equality" while caring and loving children. In these two kinds of contemporary humanistic consciousness, teachers not only squat to communicate with children, but really put down the shelf of adults and communicate with children with their hearts. Although the child is young, he can feel this kind of "maternal love" care from the teacher. Only in this way can children grow up healthily under the warm care of teachers.

Third, how to pay attention to children's mental health

Children's mental health is a necessary condition for the perfection of children's personality and the internal foundation of children's spirit and development. Only with mental health can children develop in an all-round way. On the other hand, without mental health, children's development will be limited, and personality disorder or mental illness may appear in their later development. At present, children have different degrees of mental health problems. Mainly manifested in two aspects: first, the frustration tolerance is low, and it can't stand the bumps. Cry and lose your temper if you are not satisfied. Second, it lacks the ability to communicate with others and deal with interpersonal events. For most children, everything is centered on them in the family, but in the collective, they must consider the preferences and opinions of other peers. With the increase of only children, more and more children have little chance to get in touch with the outside world, which leads to confusion in interpersonal relationships. As Professor Ding Zan, a psychologist in China, said: "The most important thing in people's psychological education is to adapt to interpersonal communication, so people's psychological diseases are mainly due to interpersonal relationships." Therefore, as kindergarten teachers, we should pay more attention to children's mental health education.

Four. Mental health education should start at an early age.

What are the characteristics of mentally healthy children? We believe that at least the following five items should be included:

(1) have normal intelligence and curiosity;

(2) Be able to gradually learn to control your emotions and maintain an optimistic mood;

(3) Learn to communicate with people around you normally, know how to share and cooperate, respect others and be helpful;

(4) Self-acceptance and self-control, able to actively face the problems and difficulties encountered in life and adapt to the environment;

(5) Have good behavior habits and sound personality.

Introduction to Pedagogy Thesis II These five articles are not formed overnight, but depend on the cultivation of adults. How to train them? We should not forget the characteristics of children's physical and mental development and change. Mental health education should permeate all aspects of family life and the whole process of school education, and put forward different requirements for children of different ages. We should take "learning to recognize, learn to get along, learn to do things, learn to survive" as the goal of children's lifelong education, and we will certainly train children into pillars to adapt to social life in the new century.

In today's society, I have summarized the following problems in mental health education:

First, there is insufficient attention and understanding of children's mental health education.

As early as 1977, the World Health Organization put forward that health should be a complete state of physical, psychological and social adaptation, and regarded psychological and social adaptation as the basic elements of health. However, in a considerable number of kindergartens, the current understanding of health is still at the level of bio-medical model, and the new model of bio-psychological-social medicine has not yet been realized. Therefore, it is obvious that physical health care is emphasized and mental health care is ignored. The main reasons for this lack of attention to children's mental health education are the general lack of knowledge about children's mental health, vague understanding of children's physical and mental relationship, and failure to recognize the importance of children's mental health. Many people regard some abnormal manifestations of children's psychology as natural phenomena in children's growth and ignore them.

Second, children's mental health education has not yet formed a complete theoretical system and lacks strict systematicness.

Children's mental health education failed to form its own complete theoretical system, mainly reflected in the following aspects:

First, so far, there is no monograph on children's mental health education except a few books on children's mental health, behavior and emotional problems. Secondly, among the few universities offering pre-school education in China, there are few courses for children's mental health education; Third, there is no national textbook for children's mental health, whether it is colleges or kindergarten teachers. Fourth, although the Regulations on Kindergarten Work proposes to do a good job in children's mental health care, its content is scattered and chaotic, which is mostly reflected in other contents, such as cultivating children's lively and cheerful personality and guiding the healthy development of children's personality. There is no internal connection system and unified concept between these contents, and many contents about children's mental health and education have not been included in education or attracted the attention of educators. As a result, when we carry out mental health education for young children, most of us can only learn from the theories and experiences of other adjacent disciplines, primary and secondary schools and adult mental health education, and the integration is not strong enough.

Third, the separation of theory and practice.

In recent years, more and more kindergartens attach importance to children's mental health education, and have accumulated many useful experiences in practice. And many teachers in colleges and universities have begun to pay attention to the research of children's mental health education, and the research results of children's mental health education are increasing day by day. However, there is a prominent problem worthy of attention, that is, the disconnection between theory and practice. On the one hand, researchers engaged in infant health education in colleges and universities rarely go deep into kindergartens for guidance, let alone establish several points for long-term experiments; On the other hand, when kindergartens carry out this work, they can only stay on the superficial understanding of the phenomenon and cannot understand its essence from the phenomenon. Therefore, in many cases, the final result of their work can only be a summary of experience, and it is difficult to further develop it and deepen the theme, which hinders the in-depth education of children's mental health.

Fourthly, teachers lack professional knowledge of children's mental health education.

The implementation of educational activities depends to a great extent on the quality of educators, the structure and richness of professional knowledge. However, in the long-standing pre-school normal education system, knowledge updating has not fully kept up with the requirements of the development of the situation, which directly leads to the lack of professional knowledge of mental health education for kindergarten teachers. Solid knowledge of children's mental health education is the premise of children's mental health education. At the same time, how to grasp the relationship between children's mental health education and children's science education and pay attention to the integration of educational content will also affect the implementation of children's mental health education. At present, the problems existing in mental health education in many kindergartens are closely related to this.

The unscientific nature of verb (abbreviation of verb) in concrete operation.

1. violates the principle of mental health education. For example, children's aggressive behavior belongs to conduct disorder, so we should insist on positive education, set an example, or take temporary isolation and reduce stimulation. However, some kindergarten teachers use catharsis to correct such children, provide them with broken items and let them vent their anger. Research shows that children gain more offensive skills after venting, which can produce stronger aggressive tendencies. Therefore, catharsis violates the principle of mental health education. Some teachers even use corporal punishment to treat such children, which further strengthens children's aggressive behavior, because corporal punishment itself has played a demonstration role in children's aggressive behavior.

2. The problem of unsynchronized family education. It is a good thing for kindergartens to educate their children on mental health, but if we do not pay attention to the close cooperation with parents in the implementation, the efforts of kindergartens will be in vain. A kindergarten has been insisting on cultivating children's social communication ability for several years, aiming to let children learn to communicate, share and cooperate with others and improve their social adaptability. However, in practice, they ignore the contact and cooperation with their families. Some families have always adopted a doting and laissez-faire education method for their children, which has led to the conflict between kindergarten teaching and family teaching, and education has not received the due results.

3. Can't distinguish psychological problems from moral problems. Lying is a common phenomenon among some young children. On the one hand, children lie because of their low level of cognitive development, which is inconsistent with the facts in thinking, memory, imagination and judgment; On the other hand, it is because children are afraid of being punished for doing something wrong, or because teachers and parents are too strict with their children. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively analyze and treat children lying differently. If it is caused by low cognitive level, it is a problem in the process of psychological development. If it is caused by too strict requirements, it is an education problem, but these are essentially different from lying in adulthood, and there is no moral and immoral problem. However, in some kindergartens, it is not uncommon to confuse psychological problems with moral problems in case of stealing or lying, in order to prevent children from being scolded for their bad morals.

4. Adult mental health education. Because children's mental health education has not yet formed its own theoretical system, some kindergartens often learn from the experience and model of mental health education in primary and secondary schools and even adults when implementing mental health education for children. This leads to the neglect of children's practical acceptance in the process of education. For example, in the psychological correction of some children with behavioral problems, some kindergarten teachers simply copy some behavioral therapy methods without considering what kind of negative effects this method will have on children. As a result, behavioral problems are not corrected and new adaptation problems appear.

In fact, children's mental health education is an integral part of children's quality education system engineering, and there are still many problems to be solved. This paper only analyzes some important problems in children's mental health education, and the solution of these problems depends on the establishment and improvement of mental health education model on the one hand, and the joint efforts of kindergartens, families and society on the other. Paying attention to children's mental health is not an easy task, but a major event related to the future of our nation. In this respect, we should all devote ourselves to it with the spirit and mind of "children and young people", so that all our children can grow up healthily and happily in the sunshine of the whole society and become qualified children with good physical and mental health in the future.

Concluding remarks

The times are developing, education is reforming and children are growing. Adhering to mental health education is the symbol of modern moral education, the key to improving children's comprehensive quality, and an urgent and important topic for every teacher. As the saying goes, "it is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish." We can't give our children the knowledge and skills to cope with for a lifetime, but the ability to study and think independently, the ability to practice, the passion and spirit to explore new knowledge and create, and good moral quality and habits are the precious wealth we should give our children. As teachers, we should use love to light the "lights" in every child's heart and raise the sails of progress. As long as everyone pays attention to the growth process of children and the core issue of "everything is for the development of every child" can be realized, then the flower of education will become more and more beautiful.
