From 2000 to 20001,I visited the STD/AIDS Center of Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and studied under Professor Shao, the chief expert of AIDS prevention and control in China. He participated in many international academic conferences on biomathematics and dynamics of infectious diseases, and was a guest speaker at the first Sino-Italian International Conference on Applied Mathematics held in Naples, Italy in 2000. Participated in 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation (Asymptotic Behavior of Nonlinear Epidemic Model, Study on Mathematical Model of AIDS Transmission in China and Its Application in Prevention and Control Decision-making, Study on Key Issues of Air Pollution Control in Urban Road Traffic Network) and National Tenth Five-Year Key Project 1 (Study on Main Biological Factors Affecting AIDS Transmission in China). In 2005, he won the second prize of Zhejiang Excellent Paper Award, the first prize of Shaanxi University Science and Technology in 2006, and the second prize of "Mathematical Modeling and Research of Infectious Diseases Dynamics" in 2007. At present, he is the backbone coach of the mathematical modeling team of Southeast University, and the course of Mathematical Modeling and Mathematical Experiment was awarded as a national-level excellent course (2007) and a first-class excellent course in Jiangsu Province (2006).
