Peking University, Tsinghua University and Beijing National Accounting Institute jointly sponsored 16 China Accounting Review founded by a comprehensive university. Peking University published its inaugural issue.

Accounting and Economic Research (bimonthly) was founded in 1983 (formerly known as Journal of Shanghai Lixin Accounting Institute). It is a financial academic journal mainly focusing on accounting, supplemented by trade, finance and economy, and sponsored by Shanghai Lixin Accounting Institute.
