Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 According to the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC) (revised in 2004), the Interim Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC), the Interim Measures for the Granting of Bachelor's Degrees in Colleges and Universities in Henan Province (Yu Jiao Gao Zi [1990] No.216) and the Decision of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee on the Granting of Academic Degrees in Colleges and Universities.

Article 2 Our school awards bachelor's degrees according to the existing undergraduate majors.

Chapter II Organizational Structure

Article 3 The academic degree evaluation committee (hereinafter referred to as "Academic Degrees Committee") shall be established in the school, consisting of 23-27 people. The Academic Degrees Committee consists of the president, the vice-president in charge of teaching, the director of the Academic Affairs Office and the administrative heads of various teaching units and relevant departments. The Academic Degrees Committee has 1 director and 1-2 deputy directors. The Academic Degrees Committee has an office (hereinafter referred to as the Academic Degrees Office), which is located in the Academic Affairs Office.

Article 4 Each college shall set up a degree evaluation sub-committee (hereinafter referred to as "sub-committee") consisting of 3-5 persons, with 65,438 directors/kloc-0 persons and 65,438 deputy directors respectively. The chairman of the Sub-committee shall be a member of the Academic Degrees Committee, who shall be selected from the teaching management cadres or full and associate professors of the college and submitted to the Academic Degrees Committee of the school for examination and approval.

Chapter III Job Responsibilities

Article 5 The main responsibilities of the Academic Degrees Committee

1. Review and approve the list of recent undergraduate graduates who plan to grant or not to grant bachelor's degrees proposed by the sub-committees of various colleges.

2. Review and approve the list of applicants for bachelor's degree from other units.

3. Make a decision on granting, not granting or revoking the granting of a bachelor's degree.

4, responsible for dealing with fraud in the degree awarding work.

5. Review and approve the membership list of the sub-committees, and decide on the establishment or cancellation of the sub-committees.

6. To study and deal with disputes in the process of awarding bachelor's degrees.

7. Revise the detailed rules for the award of bachelor's degree in our school.

Article 6 The academic degree office works under the leadership of the academic degree committee, and its main responsibilities are:

1. Prepare materials and organize relevant meetings for academic degree committee meetings and other related work.

2. Responsible for reviewing the list of students proposed by the sub-committees to be awarded, abnormally awarded and not awarded bachelor's degrees, and reporting the review and related materials to the Academic Degrees Committee for approval.

3. Be responsible for issuing degree certificates to the bachelor's degree winners approved by the Academic Degrees Committee.

4. According to the authorization of the Academic Degrees Committee, handle the suspension and reissue of bachelor's degrees.

5. Report the awarding of bachelor's degree to the superior on time.

6, responsible for accepting the application for reconsideration put forward by the Sub-committee, and investigating and verifying the objections raised in the process of awarding bachelor's degrees, and reporting them to the Academic Degrees Committee.

7. Coordinate the work among the subcommittees.

8. Other tasks assigned by the Academic Degrees Committee.

Article 7 Duties of the Subcommittee

1. Implement the requirements and procedures for awarding bachelor's degree stipulated in these Detailed Rules, and strictly examine the qualifications and conditions of bachelor's degree (including political and ideological performance, scores of various courses, professional/educational practice report, graduation thesis/design and graduation appraisal, etc.). ) Review the graduates of our college one by one, put forward the list of students who plan to grant, abnormally grant and not grant our college bachelor's degree and publicize it.

2. Submit the list of students who intend to grant, abnormally grant or not grant a bachelor's degree and related materials to the degree office.

3, responsible for handling the problems left over from the work of awarding bachelor's degrees, and put forward preliminary opinions according to the relevant provisions, submitted to the degree committee for examination and approval.

4, responsible for accepting the relevant matters assigned by the Academic Degrees Committee.

5. Assist the degree office in issuing bachelor's degree certificates.

Chapter IV Conditions for Granting

Eighth ordinary undergraduate graduates who meet the following conditions may be awarded a bachelor's degree:

1, love the motherland, support the leadership of the China * * * production party, support the socialist system, and abide by national laws and regulations while studying at school; Abide by the Code of Conduct for Students in Colleges and Universities and the Code of Conduct for Students in xuchang university; Have good moral cultivation and good conduct.

2. Have a good grasp of the basic theories, knowledge and skills of this major, complete the requirements stipulated in the undergraduate teaching plan (training plan), and obtain graduation qualifications.

3. The results of graduation thesis (design) show that you have the initial ability to engage in scientific research or undertake professional and technical work.

Article 9 A bachelor's degree shall not be awarded under any of the following circumstances:

1, those who have not obtained graduation qualification.

2. During the school study, he was punished by staying in the party for more than two times (including two times) (excluding), or by staying in the party for observation and above.

3. People who cheat in various exams during school (including CET-4 and CET-6, etc.). ).

4. During the period of studying in school, if the average GPA of the courses (except minor subjects) taken by ordinary undergraduates under the credit system is below 1.8 (excluding 1.8), undergraduate students will pass the make-up exam in 4 or more courses within 2 years.

5. The graduation thesis (design) is unqualified and there is serious fraud in the graduation thesis (design).

6. During the study period, the course scores of college English and computer basics failed to meet the requirements of the school.

7. There are serious frauds in all aspects of the work of conferring academic degrees, or for other reasons, the bachelor's degree cannot be conferred upon examination by the Academic Degrees Committee.

Article 10 Abnormal conditions for awarding a bachelor's degree:

For the cases listed in the third and fourth paragraphs of Article 9 [corresponding to the fourth paragraph: the average GPA of courses (except minor) taken by ordinary undergraduates under the credit system is below 1.8 (excluding 1.8) and above 1.5 (including 1.5).

Chapter V Grant Procedures

Article 12 After the defense of graduation thesis (design) in the last semester, students will receive and fill in the Application Form for Awarding Bachelor's Degree in xuchang university from their college.

Article 13 The Sub-committee shall, according to the conditions for awarding bachelor's degrees stipulated in these Measures, examine the qualifications of each graduate for awarding bachelor's degrees, fill in the list of students who have been awarded bachelor's degrees, the list of students who have been awarded bachelor's degrees and the list of students who have not been awarded bachelor's degrees, and submit them to the degree office after being signed by the director of the Sub-committee of our college.

Article 14 The academic degree office shall examine the preliminary examination list reported by the sub-committee and submit the examination opinions to the academic degree committee.

Chapter VI Handling of Objections to Degree Granting and Reconsideration Matters

Article 18 Within five working days after the school announces the result of awarding bachelor's degree, students who disagree with the result may submit a written application for reconsideration to the branch committee of their college, which will investigate and verify it; If the situation is true, it can be reported to the academic degree office for review in writing within five working days after receiving the application; After examination, the academic degree office may submit it to the academic degree committee for reconsideration if it deems it necessary.

Article 19 The Academic Degrees Committee shall conduct reconsideration within five working days after receiving the application for reconsideration, and inform the college to which the student belongs of the reconsideration result, and the college shall inform the student himself.

Article 20 The school will seriously deal with those responsible for favoritism and malpractice in awarding bachelor's degrees.

Chapter VII Supplementary Provisions

Article 21 These Rules are applicable to full-time undergraduates in our university.

Twenty-second these rules shall come into force as of the date of promulgation, and the original relevant provisions shall be abolished at the same time.
