The 18th National Academic Conference on Neurology of Chinese Medical Association was held in Chengdu Century City International Conference Center on September1July-20th, 2006. The meeting was hosted by Chinese Medical Association and Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, and was undertaken by Sichuan Medical Association and Neurology Committee of Sichuan Medical Association. Co-organized by Huaxi Hospital. 20 15 coincides with the100th anniversary of the founding of Chinese Medical Association. Doctors from the Department of Neurology took an active part in this meeting. * * * More than 5,200 doctors from neurology and related disciplines signed up for the conference and contributed 3,567 papers to celebrate the centenary of the Chinese Medical Association with practical actions. The conference activities are rich and colorful, but due to the limitation of space, this paper only selects some wonderful contents.
