Adhere to the ideal

The happiest thing in the world is to fight for the ideal.

Ideal is like a seed, planted in the soil of "heart". Small as it is, it can take root and blossom. Without ideals, it is like living in a desolate Gobi, cold and lifeless. With ideals, there is pursuit, there is the goal of hard work, and with ideals, there is motivation. Maybe you will encounter numerous setbacks on the way to realize your ideal, but it doesn't matter. If you fall, get up and move forward for your dream. After all, the future is created by ourselves.

When Sima Qian, a historian, was young, he was determined to write a history book of "Tibetan famous mountains are handed down to future generations". In the seventh year when he started writing this history book, the case of Li Ling happened. Li Ling, the general of the Second Normal University, was defeated and surrendered because he was outnumbered in a war with Xiongnu. Sima Qian defended Li Ling, angered Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, was arrested, imprisoned and tortured. After being punished, he tried to commit suicide because of humiliation and pain, but he thought that his ideal of writing history books had not been completed. So I put up with humiliation.

* * * lasted 18 years and was finally written as Historical Records. This masterpiece has 526500 words. Creating a general history of China's biography, with rich and informative historical materials, has always been respected by people.

Lu Xun once spoke highly of Historical Records in a very general language: "Historians never sing, and there is no rhyme." Sima Qian's dream has finally come true. What does it depend on? First, he set a goal and fought for it. Although he met with great setbacks, he didn't give up, persisted in the end and finally succeeded.

We are all familiar with the story of The Ugly Duckling written by Andersen. The ugly duckling in the story has gone through many hardships and finally turned into a white swan. In fact, fate has no trajectory, and the key lies in the pursuit of a beautiful realm and a beautiful ideal. Setbacks and pains in life are inevitable. If you learn to step on them, every child will have his own dream. As long as you learn to set a goal in life, you will truly realize that you can also become a "white swan" and realize your dreams like an ugly duckling. As long as people have dreams, then difficulties are no longer difficult.

The ideal is not the seven-color rainbow in the sky, but the unshakable belief in people's hearts. Rainbow is just the refraction of sunlight, and it is fleeting. Ideal is the crystallization of faith, shining forever in the depths of the soul. Stick to your ideal, and one day, you will succeed!
