For decades, Huang Minglong has been fighting in the front line of scientific research, making great contributions to China's socialist construction and cultivating a large number of scientific research backbones. He published nearly 100 research papers and nearly 40 comments and monographs. 1955 was elected as a member of the Department of Mathematics and Physics of China Academy of Sciences, a deputy to the Third National People's Congress and a member of the Second, Third and Fifth CPPCC, and 1978 was awarded the title of advanced representative of the National Science Conference. Huang Minglong is the 14th and 16th vice-chairman of Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, the 4th honorary chairman of Shanghai Branch of Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, director of chinese chemical society, and a former consultant editor of International Tetrahedron magazine.
