The defense is divided into two parts. The first part is the propositional defense, which mainly investigates the situation that the candidates (hereinafter referred to as candidates) who apply for the college entrance examination master the basic theory and skills of this major and the new progress of this major. The specific method is that the judges unify the proposition within the professional scope declared by the candidates, and each set of test questions includes basic theoretical questions and professional questions.
Candidates randomly select a group of test questions, reply around the selected test questions and answer the questions of the judges. The second part is free defense. According to the major declared by the candidates, choose your own scope and topic according to a certain content, disease, technology or method that you are familiar with. Candidates discuss first, then the judges ask questions and the candidates answer. The scores of propositional defense and free defense each account for 50%. The content of any candidate's essay can not be used as the content of the defense.
Second, we should pay attention to the usual knowledge accumulation.
Usually, knowledge accumulation is a big topic, but it can't be ignored. Because in the process of defense, we found that the basic concepts of those who are satisfied with the defense are relatively clear; If you are dissatisfied with the answer, no matter how the judges ask questions (or even prompts), the candidates just can't answer the knowledge points, which reflects the importance of knowledge accumulation at ordinary times. Must have solid basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills (three basics).
Third, we must grasp the main points and reply.
We found that some candidates rambled when discussing and answering questions in their defense, while others answered irrelevant questions, which wasted time and failed to explain the questions clearly. The main reason is that the main points are not grasped. To grasp the main points of answering questions, first of all, after drawing the questions, find out what the questions are, clear your mind according to the questions, and answer questions according to the questions asked in the preparation time of 10-20 minutes.
Fourth, we should attach importance to free reply.
It stands to reason that for candidates, free defense seems easier than proposition defense. However, we found that some candidates did not prepare in advance; Some candidates have problems with the content they choose, which cannot reflect the professional level of candidates; Some candidates are not well prepared and do not understand the procedures and methods of free defense. They just stated according to their own ideas. The judges were at a loss when they asked questions, and there were cases where they answered irrelevant questions.
