Measures for the administration of postgraduate students who are recommended to study for master's degree without examination

Article 1 Fresh graduates who meet the following conditions are eligible to participate in the recommendation of graduate students who study for master's degree without examination.

1. has a formal student status (except for students who are not funded by experimental colleges to continue their studies).

2. Excellent personality, excellent study, and strong comprehensive analysis and problem-solving ability.

3. Have completed all the courses specified in the teaching plan and achieved good results. Although the first six semesters (four-year system) or the first eight semesters (five-year system) failed the exam, but failed more than two courses (each exam or exam course is counted as one course), the first make-up exam should be passed.

4. Pass CET-4 or CET-4 with a score of 425 or above.

5. Adopt the physical training standards stipulated by the state.

6. No demerit or above.

Directional students must obtain the written consent of the contracting unit before they can participate in the recommendation.

Second recommended basic work by the hospitals (departments) to organize the implementation. The list of recommended students is finally reviewed by the Academic Affairs Office and the Graduate School, and reported to the principal in charge for approval.

Article 3 Students should be comprehensively evaluated. The total evaluation score is 100, including academic performance (full score of 95) and moral education plus points (full score of 5, see also the Evaluation Standard for Moral Education for Postgraduates of Harbin Institute of Technology issued by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry).

Article 4 Double-degree students only participate in professional recommendation.

Article 5 The list of students after comprehensive evaluation shall be publicized and reported to the Academic Affairs Office for the record.

Sixth recommended candidates should be determined in strict accordance with the ranking of the total score of comprehensive evaluation.

Article 7 Academic performance consists of two parts: course assessment results and competition points. Achievements and awards from the date of enrollment statistics to the comprehensive evaluation and publicity stipulated by the school.

1. The average credit of students' course assessment is calculated according to the formula in Article 10 of the Measures for Course Assessment and Record of Students' Manual.

If a student scores 70 points in CET-4, one foreign language failure can be deducted from the recommended qualification, but the course still participates in calculating the average credit with the results before the make-up exam.

For courses that fail no more than two courses and pass the first make-up exam, the average credit is still calculated based on the results before the make-up exam.

2. Winning prizes in competitions organized at all levels (the results of subject knowledge competitions organized by the school are not included in the bonus points), and the average grade points of recommended graduate students who are exempt from examination are added (the winners of similar competitions are not added).

The principle of bonus points shall be implemented according to the relevant regulations of the school.

Article 8 A student who is recommended to study for a master's degree without taking the exam has a record of cheating in the exam and plagiarizing other people's academic achievements, or is punished for violating the law and discipline in the follow-up study process, and his qualification is cancelled; Failing the course examination, or failing in the graduation design (thesis), shall be implemented according to the contents stipulated in the document "School Office [2004] 173".
