Feng Menglong's Sanyan and Ling Mengchu's Erpai are collectively called Sanyan Erpai, which fully embodies the ideological consciousness and moral concept of the citizen class and has always been regarded as a model of citizen literature. Its editing, publishing and distribution are closely related to the development of commodity economy, the expansion of the city and the influence of Wang Xue's leftist philosophy, and also have the most direct relationship with the rise and growth of the citizen class. This paper first briefly introduces Feng Menglong, Ling Mengchu and their works Sanyan Erpai, then redefines civic literature, expounds the rise and development of civic literature from Song and Yuan scripts to novel scripts at the end of Ming Dynasty, and finally analyzes the strong characteristics of civic literature presented in Sanyan Erpai. This paper mainly discusses from six aspects: first, the citizenization of urban customs, including the description of festivals, the custom of seeking children, the custom of offering sacrifices to the god of wealth, and the explanation of the role of folk customs in the characterization of novels; Secondly, the citizenization of creative motivation highlights the author's own citizenization tendency and the complexity of creative motivation; The third is the citizenization of novel themes, which can be divided into seven categories: talking about history, ghosts and ghosts, talking about classics, solving crimes, romance, secularity and chivalry, and its citizenization characteristics are mainly illustrated by the increase of secular and romantic novel themes; Fourth, the citizenization of artistic image. In the form of tables, the artistic images in Sanyan Erpai are divided into forty or fifty kinds, from which we can see the increase of the civic class among the characters in the novel. Fifth, the citizenization of ideological content is to show obvious civilian concept and civic consciousness in ideological content. This paper discusses it from two aspects: the positive and negative ideas of the citizen class; Sixth, the citizenization of artistic characteristics is mainly explained from the aspects of novel system, language form, narrative method and artistic characteristics.
