With the formal implementation of the second child policy, the preschool education industry in China is facing unprecedented challenges. The period from 3 to 6 years old is considered as the golden age of children's psychological development. Preschool education should help children prepare for their future school education by studying this period specially, which should be the primary task of various tasks undertaken by the government and local education authorities, and should plan ahead for the urgent impact brought by the second child policy. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze the long-term impact of the second child policy on the future development of preschool education in China by understanding the current situation of preschool education in China and examining the positive significance of the second child policy. Specifically, this paper attempts to examine the opportunities and challenges brought by the implementation of the second child policy to the preschool education industry, and on this basis, tries to put forward strategies in the educational environment where most families have two children.
