Zhejiang Province is located in the volcanic belt in the middle of the western Pacific Ocean, in the east of the Cenozoic main structure and magmatic activity belt, and is an important part of the tectonic magmatic metallogenic belt around the Pacific Ocean. The giant belt spliced by Jiangshan-Shaoxing in this province is divided into two geological structural units in eastern Zhejiang and western Zhejiang, which is the western quasi-part of the southeast margin of the Yangtze platform. Large-scale, folded Mesozoic volcanic rocks and red-covered sedimentary basins developed in eastern South China are its characteristics. The igneous intrusion zone has a wide range of fault blocks distributed in the Paleozoic metamorphic strata exposed with uplift skylights, showing the geological structural characteristics of "one old and one new".

The geological evolution process in the east is very complicated, especially in Yanshan period, where volcanic-magmatic activity is very intense, with the distribution of multi-stage acid lava and magma. The fault distribution in this area makes the metallogenic conditions very complicated. The predecessors have done a lot of work and achieved a lot of results to guide the prospecting work, but there is still a lack of systematic analysis of the characteristics of volcanic-magmatic activity in this area-its influence and control on the formation of various types of minerals.

In this paper, the reformed structural background, igneous rock properties, mineralization and alteration characteristics, ore-forming fluid sources and ore-forming materials of volcanic hydrothermal deposits, volcanic hydrothermal reformed deposits and volcanic sedimentary deposits related to continental volcanoes are summarized, and the lead-zinc metallogenic strata, structure, geochemical characteristics and geophysical characteristics of Mesozoic silver-lead-zinc deposits are systematically analyzed, and the formation characteristics, geochemical characteristics, structural characteristics and geophysical characteristics of different deposits are summarized, thus the mineralization of Mesozoic silver-lead-zinc deposits in eastern China is analyzed. Volcanic magmatism plays an important role in the process of mineralization in the east, and there are broad prospects for finding volcanic rocks and continental silver-lead-zinc deposits in this area.
