Professor Patrick Deng Liwei is a professor of political science and public policy at the London School of Economics and Social Sciences (London). He has written several monographs and academic articles on political science, and is also the editor-in-chief of the magazine Political Studies. For more than 20 years, Professor Patrick has supervised more than 30 doctoral students at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and taught interdisciplinary large-scale courses on how to draft and write doctoral thesis for more than ten years. This book is written by Professor Patrick based on his rich experience in guiding students and teaching for many years.
