Dai's Dai and Island Literature
Ling Ke said in the "Introduction" of Memoirs of Isolated Island Literature: "Isolated Island Literature is watered with blood and tears. It is a branch of Anti-Japanese War literature, but it has its own distinctive characteristics. " [1] Shanghai's "isolated island" and literature during the occupation period have long been the research objects of some countries, and some achievements have been made. Since the 1980s, Shanghai academic and literary circles have also carried out investigations and studies in this field, published some papers and published memoirs written by old comrades who participated in the "Isolated Island" literary movement. The loss of a large number of historical materials and literary products maintained the original luster of the revolutionary literary movement in that period. More than ten years ago, in the process of compiling Dai Nianpu, we learned through many interviews and investigations that Dai was one of the leaders of the party in the literary world during the "isolated island" period in Shanghai and organized many important literary activities. Because Dai Qianwan died in the liberated area of northern Jiangsu in the spring of 1945, his combat achievements during the "isolated island" period were generally unknown, so these collected materials were written into words.

/kloc-in the winter of 0/927, Dai went to Shanghai from Guangdong to participate in the left-wing literary movement. Before the establishment of the left-wing alliance, he was a major member of the Sun Society and directly participated in the preparations for the left-wing alliance. He was an influential writer during the Left Alliance.

1937 After the Lugouqiao Incident on July 7th, Shanghai cultural circles established the Shanghai Cultural Salvation Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Cultural Salvation Association") on the basis of the original Salvation Association. At that time, the leading organization of "literature rescue" was the national cooperation United front organization, which consisted of four departments: organization, propaganda, general affairs and economy. Because the economy is the responsibility of the Kuomintang authorities, the heads of the general affairs and economic departments are all elected by the Kuomintang. The organization department and the propaganda department are all sent by Zhong * * *. Deputy Organization Ministers are Qian Junrui and Zhang Zonglin, and Deputy Propaganda Ministers are Hu Yuzhi and Zhang Zhirang. According to Yu Ling's memory, "Dai was working in the organization department of Wenjiu, and his office was at the intersection of Chengdu, Yan 'an West Road. According to He Jiahuai's memory before his death, "Dai participated in Wen rescue, presided over and organized the meeting to welcome Guo Moruo back to China and the meeting to release the seven gentlemen from prison, and also organized a daily newspaper for Wen rescue." 10, the Shanghai Underground Party organized and established a "Cultural Committee" in the literary and art circles to lead the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement in the literary and art circles. According to Sun, the principal person in charge of the Cultural Committee at that time, "Dai was also a member of the Cultural Committee." 1 1 month 12, when Shanghai fell, some literary and art workers who had participated in the national salvation movement in Shanghai retreated to the mainland, some moved to the anti-Japanese base areas, and some stayed on the "isolated island" to persist in their struggle. Dai is one of the literary warriors who stayed behind in the "isolated island" and persisted in their struggle. According to Yu Ling's memory: "After the fall of Shanghai, Dai stayed to work on the' island'. He has worked in the underground party in Shanghai for a long time, is familiar with the literary and art circles, and has a steady style. From all aspects, he is very suitable for persisting in struggle in a complex environment. " From 1937 1 1 to 1940 1, he went to the base area in northern Jiangsu. Dai fought on the isolated island for three years and became a member of the isolated island literature front.

After the fall of Shanghai, the first publication of the "Island" underground party was Shanghai Daily. According to Zhong, "Yimei, Lin Tanqiu and Dai all participated in the organization and editing of this newspaper." Shanghai People's Daily stopped publishing after only a short time. Later, in order to break through the cultural blockade of the enemy and puppet troops, the underground party used the contradiction between Britain, the United States and the Japanese emperor to publish translated newspapers in the name of foreign businessmen, that is, "small translated newspapers." The progressive news and articles of all foreign news agencies are very popular with the masses. Dai participated in the preparation and organization of this newspaper from beginning to end. After half a year, it was changed to publish a daily translation newspaper, that is, a "big translation newspaper". In addition to publishing translated news and articles, there are Wang's "Everybody Talk" Supplement, Zhong's "Children's Supplement" and Gu Normal's "New Water Margin" serial. He is the editor-in-chief of the Daily Translation, and Dai is responsible for editing the local news section of the newspaper. This newspaper is very popular with the masses and has a wide market, which has played a very good role in expanding the political influence of the Party, the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army.
