The biggest collapse is the problem before the product is delivered.

In 20 10, dr Shi Qing graduated. One year before graduation, it coincided with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Qian Xuesen, the "father of China's aerospace", passed away.

When she was a student, Shi Qing heard many stories about Qian Xuesen. Qian Lao's books such as Engineering Cybernetics and On System Engineering were her spiritual food. She has always regarded money as her idol.

After returning from Australia as a visiting scholar in 2009, Shi Qing went directly to the university of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation for recruitment.

She clearly remembers what she said in the interview: "I hope I can contribute to China Aerospace with what I have learned. As an astronaut in China, I will feel very honored and proud. "

Less than two years after joining the company, Shi Qing participated in the research and development of an important project. From the preparation of the laboratory, to the configuration of all key equipment, to the design of key devices, they gradually formed a small team of four people. The team members plunged into the laboratory and worked day and night.

"At that time, I felt that the most leisure time was the meeting, because I could finally sit down and rest." Shi Qing said jokingly.

The research and development of new products should not only realize product functions, but also undergo strict environmental assessment. After a year's struggle, the product was delivered, but at the moment when the product was escorted to heaven, the hanging heart was always nervous.

In Shi Qing's view, integrating theory with practice is to turn the knowledge learned in textbooks into laboratory products and truly send them to heaven without error.

Sending the developed products to heaven for the first time is not only a technical problem, but also a great challenge to overcome psychological pressure.

The most frustrating stage is the product delivery period. "Before the product is delivered, 100% must pass all environmental tests. However, this time, to everyone's surprise, the performance of the product is greatly affected by the environment, which makes everyone nervous. "

Problems before product delivery mean that the design scheme needs to be revised and re-verified. After five days of race against time, Shi Qing's team accurately found out the cause of the error, fundamentally solved the problem, and finally stabilized all the data.

On June 20 15, 1 year, the product developed and designed by Shiqing team made its first flight on a certain model. This is also the first time that she has personally experienced the feeling and pride of being an astronaut.

Solve problems for the Long March 5 and Beidou systems.

In the closet of office 704 on the second floor, there are Shi Qing's award certificate and the team's scientific research results. Among them, Shi Qing personally won the honorary title of National March 8th Red Flag Bearer, and led the team to win the White Gold Award and the Gold Award at the International QC Conference.

The Long March V carrier rocket is the largest carrier rocket in China at present. Shi Qing led the team to innovatively adopt optical fiber sensing technology on the rocket, and effectively completed the full-cycle health monitoring of the structure on the rocket.

"This is a measurement system, just like a physical examination. Where there is a problem, it can output the results in real time. " Shi Qing introduced that under the premise of tight time and great difficulty, they fully considered the characteristics of the arrow body, such as special working conditions, narrow space, large impact and strong vibration, and broke through many technical problems, which provided a basis for judging the safety and health of the arrow body structure.

By refining the general process, Shiqing team independently developed the automatic processing equipment for optical fiber sensing products, and completed the product processing and index testing, which improved the product yield from 50% to 98%, reduced the errors caused by human factors, and ensured high-quality rapid processing with the least number of workers.

Equally exciting, in May this year, the "Zhu Rong" rover left the landing platform, arrived at the surface of Mars and began to patrol and explore. The obstacle avoidance cameras in front of and behind the rover recorded the departure process, and the recording device obtained the sound data of the departure process. Audio includes the live sound of the driving mechanism of the rover starting to move when it is powered on, driving on the ramp and driving on the surface of Mars.

The Mars sound sensor, which successfully detected this group of sound data, was developed by 704 Aerospace No.9 Institute and has completely independent intellectual property rights.

"A sound sensor is like a rover's ear. They' listen' to the natural sounds such as the wind on Mars, as well as the sounds such as the body movement and mast rotation from the rover itself, so that we can feel Mars from the auditory dimension. " Shi Qing introduced that considering the harsh environmental conditions of Mars, the team innovatively proposed a sound sensor scheme based on the principle of optical fiber sensing, and successfully obtained the real sound signal on Mars.

To do research and development, we must have a sense of innovation and make our products reliable.

The clean room on the first floor of 704 is the post of scientific research designer. They often wear airtight clean clothes and stay at the experimental table for a day. There are all kinds of automation equipment in the clean room. According to the distribution of related projects, they have their own duties, staring at the data and fiddling with the equipment.

In addition to following up the progress of the project, Shi Qing will also care about the graduation of interns. "You hurriedly ask the school graduation requirements, theoretical knowledge had better have the result of practice, so that something will happen, not on your side. Tell me directly if you have difficulties. " Shi Qing told a postdoctoral intern.

There is a transition from students to astronauts. "Dr. Shuo sends papers in colleges and universities. They did ten experiments and published successful papers. This is innovation. But from the aerospace field, we have done one hundred experiments, and as long as one experiment is unsuccessful, it is a failure. This is the difference. " Shi Qing said.

At this transition stage, the fighting spirit of the older generation of colleagues has also brought a lot of strength to Shi Qing. Now, she is slowly instilling this professionalism into her young colleagues who are about to become astronauts from students.

Innovation is extremely important for space research and development. "Sometimes when I see these young colleagues are particularly capable, I admire them and praise them for their cleverness." Shi Qing said that cleverness is a very advanced evaluation. In her opinion, it is absolutely a compliment to say that a person is smart.

The reliability of products is one thing that Shi Qing must mention at the monthly meeting. She wants to remind young colleagues at all times that they must have a sense of responsibility in the research and development of aerospace products. The youth of the team provides a dynamic condition for innovative research and development, but it also brings some mistakes because of lack of experience.

Because of the experience, Shi Qing feels that this is also a process of gradual maturity. "Learning is a lifelong and endless thing."
