When the whole family is asleep and the thief comes, at this time, a barking dog is needed; When the owner is in danger, he needs a good barking dog. People need a talking mouth when establishing interpersonal relationships, and a smart mouth when they are sometimes in an awkward position ... I think that "dogs bark well and people take good words as virtue", but the premise must be a "good" word. (Note: Kindness means that what he said is true and sincere, not for personal gain. )
During the Warring States Period, Zou Ji was in good shape and asked his wife and guests, "Who is more beautiful in the north of the city than Xu Gong?" They all replied, "You are much more beautiful than Xu Gong in the north of the city." One day, when Xu Gong visited, Zou Ji thought he was not as good as Xu Gongmei. At dusk, I thought, "My wife is beautiful and I am private. I am afraid of my beauty. The beauty of the guest is me, I want my things. " Zou Ji took himself and others to the palace to see Qi Weiwang and said, "To be honest, I am not as good as Xu Hongmei. The pastor's wife is a private pastor; My concubine is afraid of me; What the minister's guests want from the minister is beautiful in Xu Gong. Today, thousands of miles away, it is one hundred and twenty cities. Around the ladies, there is no private king; Courtiers are not afraid of kings; Within four borders, there is nothing but the king. From this point of view, the king is very embarrassed. " Zou Ji is a kind person with eloquent advice. His kind words made the king of Qi widely praised, defeated the imperial court, benefited the country and the people, and was called a saint.
"This let chu. The Chu people called it "short for" and "extended for", because the small gate is on the edge of the city gate. Yan Zi refused to enter, saying, "Those countries that make dogs enter the dog's door. I'm an emissary of Chu, so I shouldn't go in through this door. "It is more polite to enter from the gate. See the king of Chu. The King of Qi said, "There is no one in the State of Qi, so you should make your son your envoy?" Yan Zi said to him, "There are 300 people near the State of Qi. They are all dressed in dim clothes and sweating, standing side by side. Why is there no one!" The king said, "but what is a special envoy?" Yan Zi said to him, "Everyone has his own master. A saint makes a virtuous master, and an unscrupulous master. Babies are the most corrupt, so they should be prepared! "This fable shows Yan Zi's wit, agility and eloquence, and shows his valuable qualities of loving the motherland and safeguarding its dignity. If Yan Zi is not an easy-going person, how to safeguard the dignity of the motherland?
If Zou Jihe is not easy to talk to, even if they are loyal, Qi can't defeat the imperial court and safeguard its dignity.
But Zhuangzi has a point. Look at how many cunning little people are glib in ancient and modern history. Since ancient times, treacherous villains are mostly good talkers, and their good words are not good words. There are not a few people who are kind but not wise. Throughout the dynasties, traitors were in power, villains played politics, villains were glib, and black and white were right and wrong, which brought disaster to the country and the people. How can he be called a saint?
I don't object to what Zhuangzi said. When I say "dogs bark well, people speak virtue with kindness", the word "kindness" comes first. A person who speaks well must be a good person and good at words, so he is called a "saint".
