The main contents and basic requirements of graduation thesis (design)

The main contents of graduation thesis (design) should include literature review, task suggestion, scheme demonstration, design idea, design calculation or theoretical analysis, experimental results, technical analysis and conclusion. The design project should have corresponding design drawings and design instructions, the experimental research project should have corresponding system structure diagram, and the basic requirements of graduation thesis (design) should meet the writing standards of undergraduate graduation thesis (design) of the school.

Written materials for graduation thesis (design) completed by students shall include:

1. Opening report (bound separately). Cover content: graduation thesis (design) of Dali University undergraduates, Chinese and English topics, affiliated colleges, project team members, instructors, majors, grades (classes), start and end dates, and tabulation dates.

2. Abstract: It is independent to summarize the content of the research topic in a condensed form, that is, the main information can be obtained without reading the full text of the graduation design report (thesis), which mainly expounds the content, research methods, achievements, values and conclusions of the graduation thesis (design). The number of words should be controlled within 800 words, and the English abstract should basically correspond to the Chinese abstract.

3. Chinese and English keywords: keywords are important words used in graduation design reports (papers), separated by semicolons. There is no punctuation after the last keyword, and there are usually 5-8 keywords.

4. The Chinese and English abstracts and keywords are arranged in the following order: Chinese abstracts (marked as [abstracts]), Chinese keywords marked as [keywords], English abstracts (marked as [abstracts]) and English keywords (marked as [keywords]). The four parts of the content are divided into pages with a top layout.

5. Contents: Contents of the title and annex. Text: Generally, the number of words in the graduation design report is between 10000- 15000, and the number of words in the graduation thesis is between 8000- 15000 (the contents of references cited in this paper should be marked in the upper right corner of the citation ending character).

6. Title: The title should be hierarchical, and the title serial number should be marked with "1", "2.2" and "3.2. 1" hierarchically. Appendix: Relevant materials supporting the main content, such as necessary data, charts, source programs, pictures, etc. References: 50 or more graduation projects and 20 or more graduation papers with serial numbers (references are independent).
