abstract

I deny the gravitational explanation of tides. Then, I put forward a hypothesis: the cause of tide should be that the ocean surface expands with heat and contracts with cold due to the light and heat of the sun, and the tide phenomenon is formed due to the rotation of the earth.

My three laws of inertia deny the explanation that the tidal phenomenon of the earth is caused by the gravity of the moon. When Newton said that he doubted the gravity of the action at a distance, he also thought that his discovery successfully explained the tidal phenomenon of the earth. That the scientific community still uses this explanation today. According to my "generalized inertia", the moon is in a "generalized inertial motion state" and there is no real external force acting on it. Of course, there is no "force" acting on other "objects" (the gravity field of the moon will not extend to the earth). Therefore, the causes of tides need to be reinterpreted.

First of all, we should first separate Newton's function of gravity from the function that later became the "gravitational field".

(1) I first "questioned" the explanation of gravity. According to the law of universal gravitation, the gravitational value of the sun acting on the earth (originally false) is hundreds of times larger than that of the moon. It stands to reason that tidal phenomena are mainly caused by the sun. This is one of its contradictions;

(2) So far, the explanation of the gravitational causes of the earth's tides is only a "qualitative" explanation. When explaining the spring tide of Qiantang River, it is said that it is caused by the "full moon" of the moon. This is really a far-fetched explanation. I think anyone with a little "scientific mind" will come to a conclusion if he thinks about it carefully. The "full moon" is a "light" factor. What is the relationship with the "force" factor? Is this a real scientific attitude?

(3) If the moon has such a "gravitational" effect on the earth's oceans, it should also have a greater "gravitational" effect on the satellites around the earth, which can be clearly reflected in the orbital shape of the satellites, so why not show it? Here, the "practitioner" of NASA introduced the explanation of "gravitational range". If the concept of "gravitational range" is still applied from the perspective of "gravity", the moon will still have a great influence on the orbital shape of satellites.

Here, my concept of gravitational field "range" is different from the original concept of "gravitational range". The "gravitational range" in space practice is my "gravitational range", but the meaning of understanding is different. From my point of view, apart from the gravity field of my moon, the moon will not have a "little" impact on satellites. Of course, it will not have a "small" impact on the oceans on earth. The gravity field of the moon will not extend to the earth. Then, the reason for the tidal phenomenon on the earth is not caused by the "gravity" of the moon, but by what? I put forward a hypothesis here.

Second, my hypothesis:

Tides on the earth are caused by sunlight shining on the surface of the ocean, which is heated during the day, and the "water" of the ocean has a "thermal expansion" effect. At night, the heat of the heated water in the ocean is transferred to the air, and then it shrinks. Then, due to the rotation of the earth, a "tidal phenomenon" appeared. Although the effect of "thermal expansion and cold contraction" is very small, the accumulation of this tiny "thermal expansion and cold contraction" on the vast ocean surface also causes "tides".

I can explain the reason of Qiantang River Tide. The spring tide in Qiantang River occurs in August of the lunar calendar every year, which is also the "autumn equinox" season. The sun shines on the "central point" of the earth, just on the "equator". As the earth rotates from west to east, the sun shines most of its heat on the Pacific Ocean at the beginning of every day, starting from the west coast of the United States. Therefore, with the rotation of the earth, the heated and "warming" Pacific Ocean "water" pushes to the west ",and in the afternoon, it pushes to the east coast of China. Qiantang River is just in front of this "east", and because of its geographical characteristics, it has produced a "spring tide". If it is the "vernal equinox" season, the sun shines most of the heat on the Pacific Ocean at the beginning of every day, starting from the west coast of South America, so the tidal "peak" reaching the east coast of China is relatively small.

There is a phenomenon that can verify my hypothesis. According to my explanation, the "inland sea" is very small compared with the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean, but it should also have a "weak" effect of "thermal expansion and cold contraction", and its "tides" are very regular. According to this principle, if it is cloudy, this "tidal" phenomenon is not obvious. The Caspian Sea in West Asia can verify my hypothesis.
