Appendix refers to articles or reference materials attached to the back of the text, which is a supplementary part of the manual or paper and is not necessary. Because it is too big or based on a copy, it is not convenient to be included in the text;

Attachments refer to additional files added when sending files.

2. Different forms

Appendices are pure words, such as original data, mathematical derivation, calculation procedures, notes, etc.

Attachments can include files, pictures, audio, video, software and so on.

The appendices of instructions or papers are numbered as Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C in turn. If there is only one appendix, it should also be compiled as "Appendix A".

The naming method of figures, tables and formulas in the appendix also adopts the naming method of the above figures, tables and formulas, except that the chapter number is changed to the appendix number.
