Journal of Remote Sensing, formerly known as Environmental Remote Sensing, was founded in 1986. It was founded in the initial period of remote sensing in China, and it is the first remote sensing publication with the development of remote sensing in China. In the past 22 years, Journal of Remote Sensing has published a large number of the latest domestic scientific research achievements and research papers funded by the state, which has played a great role in the development of remote sensing technology and personnel training in China and has become the most influential academic journal in the field of remote sensing and geographic information science in China.
