The work of the thesis mainly includes several links, such as topic selection, topic setting (opening argument), scientific research implementation, thesis writing and thesis defense, and thesis publication.

Under the guidance of tutors, master students should choose topics from the existing production practice or the frontier of discipline development, and make clear the research direction. On the basis of consulting literature and investigation, they should submit a paper opening report in the first academic year and determine the topic of the paper. The thesis opening work is organized by the teaching and research section, and the main teachers of this subject or more than 3 (including 3) master tutors participate.
