There are more than 200 large-scale garbage disposal sites in France, most of which use high-temperature incinerators. When garbage is treated by incinerator, the temperature in the incinerator is usually heated to 850℃, which is higher than the temperature required by pyrolysis furnace. Many harmful substances are easily produced during incineration, especially dioxin, a highly toxic carcinogenic pollutant. Statistics from relevant French departments show that 40% of the total dioxin discharged into the atmosphere in France is caused by garbage incineration.
French environmental experts say that compared with incinerators, the total amount of waste gas released by pyrolysis furnaces will be greatly reduced. In addition, due to the use of activated carbon to filter the waste gas, the harmful acids in the waste gas released by the pyrolysis furnace will be well treated.
