Prevention and control principles of taenia solium disease
The following measures should be taken to prevent and treat obese taeniasis:

1. Pay attention to personal hygiene, improve diet and hygiene habits, the meat must be cooked, the knife and chopping board for cutting lettuce should be separated from the cooked vegetables, and washed after use to prevent pollution.

2. Strengthen the inspection and processing of meat. If there is no live cysticercosis in beef, it is impossible for humans to be infected with Taenia solium. Therefore, meat inspection and processing should be strengthened.

3. Strengthen slaughterhouse work and prohibit the sale of beef with tapeworm larvae.

4. Strengthen cattle management. In order to prevent cattle from being infected, the toilet should be separated from the cowshed to prevent cattle from eating human excrement.

5. Treat patients in time. Commonly used Chinese medicines are areca nut, pumpkin seed and sprout grass, and western medicines are niclosamide (imidacloprid) and piroquinone. The specific usage is as follows:

1) Areca nut pumpkin seeds: take 60-80g of pumpkin seeds on an empty stomach in the morning (first crushed), and then take 60-80g after 2 hours; 200 ml of betel nut soup (betel nut should be soaked first and then fried); Take magnesium sulfate after half an hour, and excrete the worm about 3-4 hours after taking all the medicine. This medicine has a cure rate of over 90% and little side effects. (The above dosage is for adults and should be reduced for children. )

2) Sprouting: 0.7-0.8 g/kg of leaf bud powder or 40 mg/kg of leaf bud extract, once on an empty stomach, 1.5 hours later, and then take magnesium sulfate, which can expel insects within 48 hours.

3) niclosamide: the adult dose is 2-3g, taken twice, with an interval of 1 hour, and the child dose should be reduced.

4) Praziquantel: 10 mg/kg body weight, the total amount is not more than 0.5 g, take it on an empty stomach in the morning 1 time, take the laxative after 1-2 hours, and excrete the fragmentary worms and tablets on the same day or the next day after taking the medicine. Dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain and measles occurred after taking the medicine. It may happen, and in some cases, ECG changes may occur. When taking medicine, you should follow the doctor's advice or be hospitalized.

6. Treat patients and carriers. General survey and treatment should be carried out in epidemic areas to eliminate the source of infection. A mixture of betel nut and pumpkin seeds is often used to repel insects. The method has high curative effect and few side effects. 60-80g of pumpkin seeds and 60-80g of betel nut were used respectively. In the morning, pumpkin seeds were taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour later, betel nut soup was taken, and 20-30g of magnesium sulfate was taken half an hour later to induce diarrhea. Most patients excrete complete worms within 5-6 hours. If only some bugs are excreted, you can take a bath with warm water and let the bugs be excreted slowly. Don't pull hard, lest the front and head of the worm stay in the digestive tract. Used water should be properly treated to prevent the spread of eggs. Take feces 24 hours after taking the medicine, and wash the headless section carefully. If the cephalic segment is not found, follow-up should be strengthened. If the cephalic segment and eggs are not found within 3-4 months, it can be regarded as cure.

Other anthelmintic drugs include praziquantel, albendazole, mebendazole, niclosamide and dichloromethyl bisphenol, all of which have good curative effects.

7. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the pasture, manage the feces of good people, avoid polluting the water source of the pasture and avoid cattle infection.

8. Strengthen health education, pay attention to food hygiene, change unhealthy eating habits, and avoid eating raw meat.
