Abstract: Hemingway's legendary life is as remarkable as his masterpiece. But to some extent, he was misunderstood as a male chauvinist who put power above women and nature. This paper will trace the ideology embodied in Hemingway's earliest collection of short stories "In Our Time" to prove that he is actually a writer with ecological female consciousness. His ecological female consciousness is also reflected in his later works. This thesis consists of six chapters: The first chapter introduces Hemingway's main achievements and his works. In Our Time is the cornerstone of Hemingway's success in the field of literature. The author describes in detail the process of finalizing the work and related comments. The second chapter traces the formation of Hemingway's ecological female consciousness. The formation of his female consciousness was influenced by his mother Grace Hall Hemingway, his literary tutor Gertrude Stein, his first lover Agnes Hannah von Kurowski and his four wives. This chapter also explains the close relationship between Hemingway and nature. The third chapter analyzes the text of In Our Time on the basis of eco-feminism. This chapter divides the stories in this collection into four categories: the stories of nick adams; Lovers and lovers' stories; War stories and the story. This paper makes a text analysis of each story. In fact, ernest hemingway introduced ernest hemingway, and the themes reflected in these stories sometimes overlap. For example, The Doctor and his wife is a story about the contradiction between husband and wife, and Three Days of Gale is a story about a couple, but the protagonists of both stories are Hemingway's semi-autobiographical figure nick adams. So in order to give a complete description of this character, the author put these two stories into nick adams series. The fourth chapter is the analysis of the theme of the work. This paper aims to interpret Hemingway's eco-feminist pursuit of individual integrity in his work Our Times. He refused to classify nature as the other and marginalized women. This chapter embodies Hemingway's gender ideal and the relationship between man and nature. He believes that in marriage and nature, individuals can become complete. The fourth chapter focuses on how eco-feminism regards the world as a balanced world view, which is an extension of this paper. Eco-feminism involves not only the relationship between men and women, between man and nature, but also the diversity and unity among different races, generations and classes. Ecological feminism is the way to achieve harmony. The fifth chapter summarizes the achievements and limitations of this paper. It is emphasized that Hemingway is a great writer who creates from the perspective of eco-feminism. Keywords: Hemingway's paper "In Our Time" paper ecological feminism paper
