There are many people who don't want to hear about their shortcomings, but Lv Dai is an exception. During the Three Kingdoms period, Dai Lu had a high status and a prominent reputation, but he could listen to criticism with an open mind. His friend Hou Xu, a loyal, honest and frank person, often criticized Lv Dai's shortcomings mercilessly. Lv Dai's subordinates were dissatisfied with Hou Xu, thinking that Hou Xu was too arrogant and told Lv Dai about it. But Lv Dai respects and approaches Hou Xu more. But Mei Lanfang knew that Qi Baishi was coming to the party, so she looked around for a teacher. Suddenly, he saw the old man Baishi who was left out in the cold, so he let go of the outstretched hand of others and squeezed out the crowd, respectfully calling the painter "teacher" and greeting him. Everyone present was surprised, and Qi Baishi was deeply moved. A few days later, I specially gave Mei Lanfang a picture of giving charcoal in the snow, and wrote a poem: Recalling the peace of the former dynasty, wearing clothes and moving officials. Now I am reduced to Chang 'an, thanks to the name Mei Lang. Mei Lanfang not only worships painters as teachers, but also ordinary people as teachers. He once performed the Peking Opera "Killing Life", and among the cheers, he heard an elderly audience say "bad". Mei Lanfang took the old man home by car before she could unload the goods and change clothes. He respectfully said to the old man, "The person who says I'm not good is my teacher. If the teacher says I'm not good, I must have a good opinion. Please give me advice. Students are determined to make up for it. " The old man pointed out: "Yan Xijiao's catwalk upstairs and downstairs, according to the regulations of the pear garden, should be seven ups and eight downs. Why do doctors go up and down? " Mei Lanfang suddenly realized and praised again and again. In the future, Mei Lanfang often asked the old gentleman to watch him act, asked him to correct me and called him "teacher".
