The heroic deeds of Su Yaxiang
Since 1965, Su Yaxiang has been playing the music of love wholeheartedly in her 38-year nursing work, and has written affectionate poems with a sense of responsibility more important than Mount Tai.

First, hold up the hope of life with love.

After graduating from nursing school, Su Yaxiang took the initiative to apply to a small mountain village in Songtao Miao Autonomous County, the most remote mountainous area in Guizhou. There is no electricity, no car, and of course no road. Su Yaxiang carries two sweet potatoes every day and walks round and round along the rugged mountain road. At night, she was attacked by cold wind or bitten by mosquitoes in a thatched cottage with air leakage on all sides, and she should be careful to be alarmed. In this man's small hut where he is sick and jumping for a bodhisattva, doctors and medicines are sent, medical and health science knowledge is publicized, cough is treated for aunt, knife wound is treated for uncle, and delivery is delivered for sister-in-law ... The seeds of scientific civilization have been sown in the hearts of Miao compatriots.

In the poor and backward mountainous areas of Guizhou, baby girls and sick children are often abandoned by their relatives. Su Yaxiang extended the concept of nursing to love and care for people. For decades, she has treated and raised more than a dozen abandoned babies with the dual care of medical staff and mothers. She once unbuttoned her coat and warmed the frozen abandoned baby with the feelings of a girl; Once upon a time, an abandoned baby named "KINOMOTO SAKURA" was raised and cultivated like his own child. When the child was suffering from hepatitis, he never gave up and took good care of him. Once, a 2-year-old abandoned baby with congenital mental retardation walked more than 30 kilometers on the rugged mountain road, and he almost collapsed, in order to let the abandoned baby return to the arms of his loved ones.

Second, use responsibility to consolidate the cornerstone of skills.

Over the years, Su Yaxiang studied diligently, wrote more than a dozen notes recording clinical work experience, published more than 30 papers, and won the nursing scientific research achievement award and the new technology award 10. She took the lead in introducing the advanced holistic nursing model from developed foreign countries to Guizhou, and gave lectures in city and county hospitals all over the province 16 times. She organized nurses in the whole hospital to practice 26 nursing operations and organized battlefield rescue training. Years of clinical practice have supported and enriched her teaching experience. Today, she has served as a visiting professor of undergraduate nursing and a number of teaching tasks of junior college nursing and technical secondary school nursing. He has served as editor of three magazines, member of provincial association for science and technology, director of nursing teaching and research section, expert of provincial medical accident appraisal Committee and member of legal appraisal Committee.

Third, a building that supports the cause with ideals

Su Xiangxiang's great ambition is to be a Bethune-style internationalist fighter, fighting and working like Nightingale. She devoted her life to practicing her ideals.

A special patient with 68% burns, 8 months pregnant and dying mother and child (female), Su Yaxiang had a difficult venipuncture regardless of the stench caused by the patient's wound infection and incontinence. Dropping nutrient solution into pregnant women's burned and deformed mouth for 3 hours every day with a dropper; Dig out the constipation feces of the patient by hand. After more than 100 days of careful nursing, the mother and daughter were saved, and the mother could not afford to kneel in front of Su Yaxiang with her newborn!

A 3-year-old child with thrombocytopenic purpura needs blood transfusion, and his blood type is rare. Su Yaxiang, many hospitals can't contact him. He braved the cold wind late at night and ran to the blood station, making an exception and coming out of the combat readiness blood bank.

Solution, the child is saved!

Over the past 38 years, Su Yaxiang, an ordinary care worker, has personally contributed to the Red Cross in places where large-scale car accidents occurred, in the rescue scene of coal mine collapse, in the front line of flood fighting and disaster relief, in nursing homes, orphanages, and in the scene of donating money and materials to poor mountainous areas, and has interpreted the profound connotation of humanitarianism.
