College students are the hope of the country's future construction and development. Therefore, a good university education is very important. Ideological and political education is one of the important contents in the process of college students' education, which is of great significance to improve students' ideological quality and comprehensive ability. The application of quality development activities in college students' ideological and political education can make college students better accept and understand the content of ideological and political education and play an effective role in improving teaching quality.

Firstly, it analyzes the main role of quality development activities in ideological and political education of college students.

In the process of ideological and political education for college students, teachers always focus on the content of teaching materials, so ideological and political education in colleges and universities has always been in a state of theoretical preaching.
