Yi Lee,/kloc-0 was born in Chongqing in June, 1966./kloc-0 studied in the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University in June, 1984, and received a doctorate in literature in 2003. He is currently a professor at the School of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University and a doctoral supervisor of modern and contemporary literature in China. He used to be a member of the Academic Committee of Southwest Normal University, an academic member and degree member of the Chinese Department of Southwest Normal University, an assistant to the dean of the College of Liberal Arts, the deputy director of the China Poetics Research Center of Southwest Normal University, the director of the Poetics Literature Collection and Research Center, the director of the Modern China Culture and Literature Research Center of Sichuan University, the editor of the academic series Modern China Culture and Literature, and the executive director of China Modern Literature Research Association, China Contemporary Literature Research Association, China Guo Moruo Research Association, and the vice president of Liang Shiqiu Research Association across the Taiwan Strait. Mainly engaged in China's modern poetry, Lu Xun and China's modern literary thoughts. He has published academic monographs such as Modern New Poetry and Classical Poetry Tradition in China, Interpretation of Bashu Culture in Sichuan Modern Literature, Biography of July Writers, Modernity: Complex China Melody, Southwest Culture and Poetry in the New Period, Reading Modernity-On Lu Xun and China Modern Literature, Notes on Modern Life-Lu Xun, and Appreciation of China Modern Poetry. He was selected into the talent support program of the Ministry of Education in the new century, and in 2005, the winners of 100 excellent doctoral dissertations in China enjoyed special government allowances from the State Council.
