Journal of laboratory medicine
Purpose of running a journal

Laboratory medicine adheres to practicality, theory and practice, popularization and improvement, and the combination of laboratory and clinic, and reports the latest scientific research achievements, new progress in practical technology, and the performance and characteristics of various inspection methods, reagents and instruments. It not only embodies the academic level of laboratory medicine in Shanghai, but also provides basic knowledge, new theories and new technologies for clinical laboratory personnel at all levels in China. 1. Published works, lectures, summaries, minutes of meetings (symposiums), exchange of experiences, academic trends at home and abroad, teaching fields, instruments and reagents, new technologies and methods, case reports and other articles. Submission should be scientific, advanced and practical, with clear arguments, reliable data, concise words and clear levels. Articles with positive data should be completed by well-known experts in this field combined with their own research results, which requires strong foresight and guidance. Papers, summaries and lectures generally do not exceed 4000 words, and other papers are limited to 1000 ~ 2000 words. The title of the article is Song Ti No.3 in bold, and the text (including references) should be typeset with No.5 and 1.5 times line spacing.

2. It is strictly forbidden to submit more than one manuscript, repeat submissions for many times (including submissions in different languages) and copy other people's papers. Once the above situation is found, the author will be refused to contribute, and the unit will be notified to deal with it seriously, and the brother journals in the same field will be notified at the same time.

3. Before submitting the manuscript, the author should refer to the contents suggested in the "paper template" to modify and improve the manuscript format. (1) Abstracts and keywords: A manuscript can be preceded by 3 to 8 keywords, with an abstract of about 500 words. The purpose, basic procedures (selection of research objects, observation and analysis methods), main findings (specific data and statistical significance should be provided) and main conclusions of the research or investigation should be clarified. Emphasis should be placed on new and important parts of research or observation. Keywords should try to use the term "MeSH" in IndexMedicus (IM). (2) Preface: Explain the purpose of the paper and the research or observation theory. Only the directly related documents are listed, excluding the data and conclusions of the paper. (3) Materials and Methods: The choice of observation or experimental objects (patients or other objects, including controls) should be clearly described, and the important characteristics of the research objects such as age and sex should be explained. This paper introduces the research methods, instruments and reagents (the name and address of the manufacturer should be indicated) and the experimental steps. The latter should provide enough details for others to repeat and get similar results. Cite references of existing methods; Provide references to published but unfamiliar methods and give a brief description; Describe the new or significantly improved methods, explain the reasons for adopting the above methods, and evaluate their limitations in the "discussion". Accurately explain the generic name, dosage and route of administration of drugs and chemical reagents used. (4) Results: Describe the results in logical order in words and charts. Don't repeat the data in the chart in the text, only emphasize or summarize the important observations. (5) Discussion: Focus on the new and important findings in this study and the conclusions drawn from them, and don't repeat the data or other materials in the preface or results in too much detail. The discussion part should include the possible impacts and limitations of these findings and the significance of further research. Describe the observations related to other related studies.

4. Generally, the author will be informed of the review results within 2 ~ 3 months. Some manuscripts may be submitted for a long time. If the review results have not been received for more than 3 months, the author can contact the editorial department and vote elsewhere.

5. The author of the manuscript must be a member who directly participates in the research work or has an important guiding role (such as graduate tutor, etc.). ), and people who assist in the experiment can be included in the thanks. Please limit the number of authors to 9, and it is forbidden for anyone who has nothing to do with the paper to sign. Please indicate the name, gender, age, position, professional title, education and other natural information of the contact person.

6. If the paper is funded by a fund at or above the provincial level, please indicate the fund number and indicate it in the thank-you column. National and provincial natural science funds, key projects, etc. (Please indicate the fund number and attach relevant certificates of the project) can be published first.

7. Manuscripts that need to be revised and supplemented after review should be returned to the editorial department within 4 months at the latest. If you have any difficulties, you should explain the situation to the editorial department in time. If it is not returned within half a year, it will be automatically recovered.

8. After the paper is published, the copyright belongs to the editorial department, including the copyright on the Internet.
