Hello everyone!
My name is Fu, and I come from the School of Mechanical and Traffic Engineering. In my heart, I have always insisted on a dream, that is, to contribute to China's independent innovation in science and technology.
In 2004, I was admitted to the major of Thermal Energy and Power Engineering of Hunan University with longing for the profound cultural heritage of the Millennium University. From the first day of school, I made a detailed life plan for myself-to join the scientific and technological undertakings of the motherland. To this end, I have been working towards this goal.
Undergraduate course is four years, leaving early and returning late every day. Besides taking classes, I also teach myself. Four years without interruption. No pains, no gains. During my undergraduate course, I have always maintained good grades in my major, and achieved excellent results in academic competitions and scientific and technological innovation. He has won more than 30 national scholarships, outstanding graduates from Hunan Province, and the first prize in Hunan Division of the National Zhou Peiyuan College Students' Mechanics Competition, including 8 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels. Upon graduation from 20 12, I gave up the opportunity to be sent to another school because of my attachment to this hot land, and was recommended to study for a master's degree in power mechanical engineering without examination.
When I entered the postgraduate stage, I took scientific research as my lifelong pursuit and devoted myself to it. Since then, the pace of my life has become faster. Although the school is only two hours away from home, I never go home and never have a holiday all year round except the Spring Festival. I do research in the laboratory almost every day. Every morning, I am the first to go to the laboratory; At night, I am often urged to leave the laboratory by my aunt in charge of the building. Sometimes I am so absorbed that I forget the time I was locked in the lab. I do research every day except eating and sleeping. Sometimes I think about research topics when I sleep at night. Although this lifestyle seems boring and simple, every time I challenge scientific questions, I enjoy it. My curiosity about science was appreciated by Professor Jingping Liu who just returned from overseas. In the second year, I became a doctoral student and a backbone member of the research group led by Teacher Liu.
Scientific research should not only endure loneliness, but also know how to have fun in suffering. In recent years, I have been able to endure loneliness and suffering because there is always a strong spiritual motivation behind me-that is, the love of science. This kind of power urges me to go forward bravely, urges me to race against time, inspires me to make progress, and warns me not to be impetuous and proud.
On my academic path, my tutor Professor Liu Jingping has the greatest influence on me. Mr. Liu is an internationally renowned expert on automobile engines. He has engaged in scientific research abroad for nearly 20 years. He is honest and kind, and he treats academic problems seriously and rigorously, seeking truth and being pragmatic. Teacher Liu is an academic fan and a workaholic. He works until one or two in the morning every day. At the end of 2007, Mr. Liu returned to China to teach at Huda University. I was fortunate to be his first student. He often tells us that we should be realistic and meticulous in our life and study. Every paper and project report of ours will be carefully revised by Mr. Liu, and even a punctuation error will not be missed. Under the guidance and edification of Teacher Liu, I gradually developed a rigorous and realistic attitude towards scientific research.
A pay a harvest. Under the careful guidance of the tutor, he published more than ten academic papers in less than three years, participated in the compilation of works 1 department, applied for two invention patents, assisted the tutor in completing the declaration of several major projects such as the National 973 Plan, the 863 Plan, the Science and Technology Support Plan and the Natural Science Foundation, and successfully obtained funding. At present, I have become the backbone of major projects in these countries. During this period, I also assisted the research group to independently develop a clean and environmentally friendly diesel engine for 1.6 liter cars, and achieved many original research results; Assist the research group to complete the performance test of automobile alternative fuels in the sub-project of China Automobile Plan led by Academician Zhong Zhihua, and put forward the new concept of oxygen-enriched clean combustion of alcohol alternative fuels for the first time; Assisted the research group to formulate the specification and benchmarking process for the forward development of complete vehicles and powertrains, which broke the long-standing situation that foreign countries monopolized key technologies in this field.
There is no shortcut to learning, but it must be paved by hard work, sweat and perseverance. I still remember the experience of applying for the National 973 Project on 20 12. At that time, it was only two months from receiving the notice to the deadline. The winter vacation is coming, and most of my other disciples have gone home. Under the guidance of my tutor, I completed the project establishment, research, data collection and project report writing. During this period, I consulted nearly 100 domestic and foreign literatures, analyzed hundreds of key data, carefully considered more than a dozen research schemes with my tutor, and repeatedly discussed more than a dozen technical routes. After repeated design, analysis and overthrow, I finally found the accurate orientation of the research direction. On the 29th night of the twelfth lunar month, I braved the cold wind to get home. I went to work as soon as I put down my luggage. During the Spring Festival, I stayed indoors every night and fought until 3 am. It is in this selfless state that after nearly two months' efforts, we finally completed a high-quality project report with more than 20 revisions, totaling more than 40,000 words. In the end, the project passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Science and Technology and was successfully funded. At that moment, I deeply realized the joy and happiness of swimming in the ocean of knowledge.
In addition to in-depth scientific research, the tutor also intends to let me participate in project management and teach me the experience of leading the scientific research team. At ordinary times, I will assist the tutor in overall management of the project process, and be responsible for the formulation of the scheme, technical route and team management. I pay attention to the cultivation of teamwork spirit and assist the tutor to form a scientific research echelon. I also regularly carry out project inspection and academic exchange activities in the research group, keep track of the research progress in time, and often guide my brother to carry out academic research and introduce his own learning experience. April 20 12, I was a sophomore, and I won the Hunan Graduate Research Innovation Fund, and became the project leader for the first time. Because of my efforts, I won the honors of "party member, an outstanding student in Hunan Province", "Kistler Scholarship" and "Haima Special Scholarship" during my graduate studies.
"If you are not indifferent, you will have no ambition. If you are not quiet, you will be far away." Learning is hard, and there can be no falsehood and impetuousness; Learning is happy and full, and it is full of surprises and tests in the seemingly boring process. On this road, I found the lifestyle and happiness I yearned for, guiding my future direction. In the future, I will continue to use my wisdom, courage, persistence and dreams to climb the peak of scientific and technological innovation and contribute to the transformation of China from an automobile power to an automobile power!
