Nowadays, people are taking different ways to protect cultural identity. Obviously, not only has it made great contributions to the maintenance of old houses, but also the legal rules related to cultural protection have become better. Some people even say that it is right for new buildings to be built in the traditional way. I seem to be one of the opponents, thinking that this kind of behavior may not be suitable for our world.

One of the main reasons is that with more and more people pouring into cities, most traditional buildings in our country provide few rooms, which is difficult to meet the housing demand. Compared with before, today's population has doubled or even tripled, which has brought serious pressure on housing supply. Therefore, new buildings must replace the old ones and have more effective effects, and even some old buildings have been seriously damaged.

Undoubtedly, it is very necessary to build or maintain traditional buildings to improve artistic taste and increase people's housing choices. In addition, these old houses are considered as an important resource to attract international tourists. However, the proportion of traditional housing must be controlled, otherwise the housing of citizens will be seriously affected.

Generally speaking, my opinion is that cultural identity is so precious that more efforts and measures are needed, but we should be cautious. Excellent traditions help to deeply understand history and educate young people. However, this is a simple and reckless behavior. New buildings are built in a typical way, which does more harm than good to people's lives.
