Abstract: Style of study is the comprehensive embodiment of school spirit, attitude and principles. Taking freshmen education as an opportunity, through strengthening ideological and political education, law-abiding education, cultivating professional interest in learning, and building excellent class spirit, we have grasped the breakthrough point and key to the construction of study style, which is the guarantee for good results in the construction of study style.

A good style of study can have a positive impact on individual psychology and create a strong atmosphere of mutual encouragement and promotion; You can use the infiltration and infection of spiritual power to give students a subtle influence, a silent edification; By virtue of group behavior, individuals can be restrained and standardized, and the effect of "being unconscious and not helping but being straight" can be achieved. The positive influence of this small environment can amplify the functions of various educational activities in the school, so that learners can obtain fundamental, directional and long-term spiritual guidance and practical methods of learning, doing things and being a man, thus benefiting for life. This is of course an ideal state. As a counselor, we should not rely solely on tradition, but rely on the past style of study to moisten things quietly. The construction of style of study is a systematic project. This paper only discusses the style of study from a narrow perspective, and puts forward some suggestions on how freshmen counselors play a role in the construction of the style of study in colleges and universities.
First, the necessity and feasibility of strengthening the study style education for freshmen
The construction of study style is a basic construction of the school. The formation of the style of study is not achieved overnight. This is a systematic project, and strengthening the study style education of freshmen is the starting point and key of the study style education in colleges and universities. At the beginning of higher education, have freshmen adapted to the study and lifestyle of the university? Have you accepted the scientific concept? It is bound to affect their university for four years or even the future. It is also related to the education quality of these students. After entering the school, freshmen begin to contact with new life and learning content. All information is the initial concept, which is the most basic and profound. After they deeply feel the learning attitude and style that the university should have, they will soon transform into their own learning attitude and style. Therefore, freshmen should arrange a series of entrance education, actively guide them to enter a benign learning state as soon as possible, take supporting measures to weaken or eliminate the negative factors of freshmen, and shorten the adaptation period of role transformation, which can be said to determine the quality of the four-year student education in the whole university.
Freshmen are a special group, in a special period of life orientation and ideal choice. They have their own opinions in thought, psychology and behavior, and are easy to be guided, so they are very malleable. In view of this feature, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and carrying out targeted work can achieve the expected good results. The effectiveness of management at the beginning of school can directly affect the effectiveness of later management. At the same time, the construction of study style is one of the important contents of freshman education. The traditional entrance education for freshmen has not adapted to the current situation, and it must be given a new connotation & the education of style of study construction. Second, the current study style in colleges and universities problems and causes analysis
(1) With the continuous improvement and expansion of the school-running model, the levels of college students are becoming more and more complex and diverse. For freshmen who just left high school, college life is a brand-new situation. In this case, many unprecedented or originally accumulated problems will break out. Freshmen are generally faced with problems such as confusion of life goals, difficulty in recognizing social roles, and need to master learning methods again. At the same time, while this main feature is highlighted, the current style of study of college students also presents many new features: 1. Nowadays, the phenomenon of slacking off in study is more widespread, and some students with good grades will also disobey classroom discipline, be late for class or even skip class to copy homework, usually do not work hard, and rely on surprise or even cheat in exams before exams; 2. The failure rate has improved, and some students with high entrance scores will repeat or even drop out of school; 3. Transfer of interference factors. In the past, academic failure mostly happened to students who were keen on puppy love and part-time jobs outside school to make money. Most of the reasons for dropping out of school now are keen on games and indulging in the internet. 4. The contradiction of mentality has intensified. Feeling competitive pressure and unwilling to study hard; I hope that the school will be less in charge and have poor self-control ability; Advocating autonomous learning, self-learning ability is weak. These are all new topics facing the construction of study style.
(2) There are many reasons for the above problems, including social influence and school reasons; There are both conventional factors and adverse effects in the process of social transformation and educational reform. Under the impact of market economy, money worship, hedonism, individualism, utilitarianism, lack of honesty and impetuous emotions are very popular in society, which have a strong collision with the original moral concepts and values of college students. Examination-oriented basic education is also very poisonous, which makes students show many lagging reactions after entering the university: 1, lacking learning motivation. Once they aim to enter the university, once their goal is achieved, there will be an ideal vacuum. In the past, every step of growth was designed for them by teachers or parents. Without the ability of self-planning, university study will lose new impetus. 2. The learning style is not suitable. In terms of teaching methods, from the tireless "chewing and feeding" of high school teachers to the "master leading the door and practicing in the individual" in universities, many students are not adapted or even difficult; 3. Weak self-control. In the primary and secondary education where heteronomy is more important than self-discipline, students' self-control ability has not been well developed. Under the relaxed education mode of universities, many students know the truth of studying hard, but they can't control themselves. As a result, they play too much and neglect their studies. 4. Poor psychological quality. In view of the above problems, counselors must make full use of the opportunity of freshman education to prevent delays and do a good job in the education of study style.
Third, how do counselors strengthen the construction of study style in freshman education
Counselors work in the front line of students' ideological education, have a comprehensive and accurate understanding of students' thoughts, study and life, and play an irreplaceable role in the construction of study style. It is also the duty of counselors to make good use of the opportunity of freshmen's entrance education, cultivate a good style of study and serve students' growth. In this process, the scientific management and correct guidance of counselors are the necessary guarantee to cultivate and form a good learning atmosphere and guide students to learn correctly and grow healthily. In view of the problems existing in the above-mentioned students' study style, counselors should take concrete measures to play their role in the construction of study style and guide them to establish a good study style.

Thought is the forerunner of action and the source of all activities. It is the fundamental guarantee to create a good style of study to let students realize the importance of learning ideologically and stimulate their motivation for autonomous learning. Freshmen are in a critical period of forming their outlook on life and values. It is easy to get lost if you are limited to your personal "self-growth design", lack lofty goals and lofty ideals, and ignore the connection with national rejuvenation and social development. Therefore, ideological and political education for freshmen is the basis for strengthening the construction of study style. At the same time, the essence of study style is the concrete expression of students' political thought, moral quality and psychological characteristics in learning, and students' ideological and moral character directly determines the quality of study style construction. Therefore, ideological and political education is the basis of the construction of study style. Effective theme education activities should be carried out to solve the problems such as the lack of ideals at the beginning of freshmen's enrollment, so that students can take growth as the internal driving force, overcome the tendency of utilitarianism and pragmatism, form rational long-term learning goals, create deep-seated learning needs, combine personal development with social needs, establish the ambition of contributing to society and serving the motherland, advocate true knowledge and self-achievement, correct learning attitude, and form the values of independent learning, continuous learning and lifelong learning.
