Chilko is probably one of the most impressive male characters in the whole animation. Chilko, portrayed in the first two episodes, almost wrote the word "villain" on his face: as the gang leader of Anzu underground organization, he funded Xin Jide's twilight experiment, designed to trap and kill Wande, coerced the security captain of Picheng, and became an empty talker of Xin 'anzu. He is a typical villain, determined and ruthless.
Then, the dramatic development of this role began with a "shocking hug". The following story echoes the images outlined in the previous strokes and becomes the most interesting point of the whole animation. If there is no plot after the "amazing hug", then Chilko is only a tool to promote the development of the plot at best. But these dramatic developments have given Chilko a unique charm.
Early Chilko can be regarded as the representative of Anzu Radicals. In the background story, Anzu and Picheng were originally a land and a city, and only the name Anzu existed. Later, due to an engineering accident, Anzu was divided into Shangcheng District and Xiacheng District. Shangcheng District built a world-famous "city of progress" by relying on advanced Hex technology, and later decoupled from the name Anzu and renamed it "Peter Wolf", which was regarded as a symbol of openness, freedom and science.
The downtown area has become a shadow in the sun, silently enduring the gold smelting waste gas, toxic sewage and dark dark alley transactions, but failing to reap the prosperity and blessings brought by science and technology, struggling in poverty and humility all day long.
The firewood that caused trouble and turmoil was buried in this way, only when some well-organized leaders appeared in the lower city to ignite the fire of revenge and burned it on the long bridge connecting Pi City and Anzu.
Chilko and van der Waals were such roles when they were young. Born in the lower city, they share the same vision in overthrowing the upper city. So there was what Van der Waals called "crossing the bridge" and Picheng World War I. The result is the opening of the first episode-law enforcement officers suppressed the surging rebel army, and baby He Wei became an orphan in this battle.
Surviving Chilko and Van der Waals had diametrically opposite ideas after this war, and finally parted ways in a battle by the waste water lake. For Chilko, Uptown has become synonymous with hatred, and there is no possibility of compromise. However, Vander calmed down and took the lead in seeing the further possibility: he realized the absolute gap between the upper city and the lower city. Moreover, under the premise of this absolute gap-when the residents of the lower city put the expectations of the leader on their shoulders, he can't let them die in vain.
Even if others look grovelling, we must maintain a weak balance between Anzu and Picheng. He wanted to understand this earlier than Silblanche.
