Problems and Countermeasures in Argumentative Writing of Senior High School Students —— Taking Buddhist Youth of Senior High School Students as an Example
With the deepening of teaching reform, argumentative writing has become a popular test center in most parts of the country, and the composition accounts for half of the Chinese test papers. Many students and teachers have also paid unremitting attention to composition writing and counseling. However, in the process of tutoring students, teachers also found many problems. In order to write a good argumentative essay, we must first make clear and aim at these problems of students, study the corresponding strategies, and let students pay attention to these problems and improve them in time, so as to fundamentally solve the problems.

Question 1: I don't have a deep understanding of the central argument.

A qualified argumentative essay must have a central argument, which should not only meet the requirements of the composition topic, but also conform to the scientific laws. Generally, educators believe that arguments are used to prove arguments, and arguments play a role as a link and establish a logical relationship between arguments. It is correct to some extent to make the argument more convincing through argumentation. However, after in-depth research and thinking, scholars come to the conclusion that this understanding needs to be further deepened, that is, argumentative writing does show the characteristics of speculative and argumentative writing, but even the greatest truth is composed of some small truths, which can only be established under the support of these small truths, and demonstrating these small truths can more effectively ensure that the whole central argument is more convincing. Only by recognizing this point can we build a solid basic skill of argumentative writing.

Solution strategy:

First of all, take the argument of the whole article as the center, find a reasonable sub-argument, and form a framework system of argument. Through this system, the arguments of the article can have real content, thus avoiding the loose situation of the article without center, and naturally forming a powerful group theory supported by some small arguments.

For example, on the topic of "Reading thousands of books", if we simply use the relationship between arguments and arguments and quote a series of famous sayings to complete the argumentation process, such an argumentation method is not convincing enough. If we want to make the argument aggressive, we need to dig out the small truth from this big topic, form an organic system, and prove the truth with the small truth: books are the ladder of human progress, books have their own golden house, and books are the door of human wealth. It also shows that a person, a country and a society must have knowledgeable people to support their progress and development. Where does knowledge come from? It comes from thousands of books. This argument of the minor truth will naturally make the major truth more convincing.

Secondly, we should deepen and develop the topic. In order to make the argument more convincing and aggressive, it is necessary to deepen the argument in a pioneering and creative way, break the rigid and mechanical way of argument on the topic, realize the liveliness of the argument through expansion, and achieve the effect of deepening at different levels, attracting nuances and constantly sublimating.

In short, to break the superficial understanding of argumentative arguments, we should constantly decompose, deepen and explore the topics, dig deeper connotations, demonstrate in a vivid and positive way, restrain superficial ignorance and paleness in argumentative arguments, and strengthen students' argumentation and deepening of simple arguments, which is far higher than the effect of unilaterally refining the central arguments.

Question 2: The argument is weak.

Some students can find clear arguments, and their minds also contain a lot of argument materials. The headache is that there is no suitable argument method, but it is a pity that they can't express the content perfectly in form.

Solution strategy:

Generally speaking, students use "examples" to prove their arguments. When listing examples, we should pay attention to the following questions:

First of all, examples should ensure the close connection between arguments and arguments. For example, when demonstrating the topic "creation should be good at observing life", it is listed as: Shakespeare, a great writer, good at observing life, good at sorting out materials and creating immortal works. Newton, a famous scientist, happened to see the apple fall from the tree to the ground, thought about why it didn't fall into the sky, and after doing a lot of experiments, he got the scientific truth of gravity.

Shakespeare's example here meets the requirements of the topic, Newton's example does not meet the requirements of the topic, and the article is irrelevant.

Secondly, examples should be concise, to the point, but also rich and broad, from shallow to deep, multi-purpose parallelism. In view of the simple topic of "failure is the mother of success", we can demonstrate it like this:

Any chain is welded by failed rings, and behind every successful person, there is a failure experience: Edison had thousands of inventions in his life, but he experienced countless failures; In Qing Dynasty, Pu Songling tried to write Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio after his failure. ...

In addition, we should also pay attention to quoting typical and convincing examples, carefully using trivial matters in folk streets, blurring familiar things, and applying facts in a biased way, so that readers can accept the topics they want to demonstrate from the heart, thus achieving the purpose of creation.

The improvement of writing level is not achieved overnight, and argumentative writing is no exception. If you want to create excellent works, you must first master rich literary and written materials. Where these materials come from, of course, comes from the continuous accumulation and active observation in daily life. Therefore, students must read more books and newspapers in their spare time, extract valuable materials from their lives, and give examples for their own articles, so as to make argumentative essays more convincing, improve their writing level, turn ordinary cases in life into real truths, and let people truly feel that there is truth everywhere in life, thus improving people's perception.

Students should also strengthen the reading of biographies of celebrities, because they can dig deeper inspiration and truth from celebrities, and apply what they have said, the road they have traveled, the successes and failures they have experienced to their own articles, which will make their arguments more convincing and the titles of the articles more eye-catching, so that readers can be inspired by reading articles and constantly motivate themselves to make progress under the impetus of celebrity deeds. The brilliant deeds of outstanding people need us to spread them in the form of argumentative essays.

Conclusion: Writing argumentative essays is both important and difficult for senior high school students. Teachers should constantly discover students' problems, actively explore and solve them, point out the direction for students to write argumentative papers for the college entrance examination, and provide good suggestions. Only when students have a clear mind can they work hard in the right direction.
