The critical method of "intertextuality research" in this paper refers to two levels: one level is the postmodern intertextuality narrative strategy of the internal subject of the text, that is, to study the intertextuality of the text itself; On the other hand, the intertextual reading analysis method is used to criticize the text, which is not based on the consciousness of the text subject. This paper regards Peach Blossom Garden as an intertextual text that inherits the above two levels and meanings. According to the narrative clues of the text, the structure of the event is organized into four relatively complete and independent parts. By consulting the four classic texts in turn, the intertextual relationship between the corresponding texts is found, so as to summarize the similarities and differences and verify some interesting connections between the classic works. Explore the intertextuality among the four parts of the text flexibly.

Peach Blossom Garden is adapted from a stage play directed by Lai Shengchuan, directed by Lai Shengchuan and starring Jin Shijie, Brigitte Lin, Li Liqun, Ismene Ting and Gu Baoming.
