Four methods of deleting horizontal lines in Word header are described in detail.

Method 1: Clear format deletion

First, double-click the header to enter the header editing state, and then click Start-Font-Eraser icon to clear all formats and delete header horizontal lines. Of course, you can also enter the start-style-style-clear format to achieve the same effect.

Method 2: remove the border and delete the horizontal line.

Double-click the header to enter the editing state, select the text content, then enter Start-Paragraph-Border, and select No Border to delete the header horizontal line.

Method 3: Delete the horizontal line with one click.

After entering the header editing state, you can directly use the Word shortcut key "Ctrl+Shift+N" to delete the header horizontal line, which is actually to apply the "Text" style.

Method 4: Delete borders and shading.

Select the text at the header, and then click Start-Paragraph-Border-Border and Shading. In the preview, we can clearly see that there is a horizontal line below, click to cancel the bottom horizontal line and confirm.
