1. There must be published papers or identified scientific research results during the study period. For specific requirements, please refer to the annex "Quantitative Indicators of Scientific Research Achievements Awarded by Postgraduates of Shanghai University".

2. When discussing and evaluating the awarding of doctor's and master's degrees, the degree evaluation sub-committee of each college (department) should strictly control according to the requirements of the Academic Degrees Regulations and these Provisions. Those who do not meet the requirements of these provisions may make a resolution to postpone the conferment of degrees. The delay period is within two years for doctors and one year for masters.

3. When the degree evaluation sub-committee of each college (department) submits the relevant degree application materials of doctoral and master's degree applicants to academic degree evaluation committee, it shall attach the published representative academic papers or papers related to the degree thesis, the certificate of acceptance and consent to publication, the identification of scientific research achievements and other materials.
