The key laboratory of road engineering in cold regions was formally established in February 2003. Its predecessor was/kloc-0, the Qinghai-Tibet Highway Research Group of the Ministry of Communications, which was established in June 1973, and the Laboratory of the First Highway Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Communications (/kloc-0, which was established in June 1953 and later renamed as the Research and Test Center).
At present, there are 23 fixed staff and 7 mobile staff in the laboratory, including 3 senior titles/kloc-0 and 7 deputy senior titles. More than 65% of them have senior technical titles, forming a high-level academic team. Eight people obtained doctoral degrees (two postdoctoral students) and nine people obtained master's degrees. The academic echelon personnel mainly have master's degree or above, accounting for 56.7%, and 40% are studying for doctoral and master's degrees.
Full of highly educated talents; Among the scientific researchers, there are 15 people who have become project leaders at or above the provincial level under the age of 45; The total construction area of the laboratory is 3 194m2, the total fixed assets15.43 million yuan, and more than 60 sets of experimental equipment12.28 million yuan. It has successively undertaken 4 1 science and technology projects closely related to road engineering in cold regions, including 2 national science and technology projects, 27 provincial science and technology projects, 4 horizontal cooperation projects and 8 other science and technology projects, providing technical support for major national construction projects such as Qinghai-Tibet Highway, Xinzang Highway, Qinghai-Tibet Railway and Mohe Airport. The project covers not only plateau permafrost regions, but also high latitude permafrost regions and seasonal permafrost regions, involving highway engineering, railway engineering and airports, and has achieved remarkable social and economic benefits.
Laboratory researchers have published 200 works based on research topics or using experimental observation data, including: Chinese works 10 (including 3 participating in industry standards), 7 papers from international academic conferences, 3 papers from international academic journals 13, 9 papers from domestic academic journals and 9 reports from domestic academic conferences; A total of 365,438+0 papers were collected by SCI, EI and ISTP retrieval systems. The key laboratory of engineering structure is an important scientific research institution for port engineering construction in East China. At present, the laboratory has 6 1 full-time employees and 5 visiting experts, including 39 senior technicians and 20 intermediate technicians. With all kinds of advanced instruments and equipment and computer network system, the editorial department of Port Engineering Technology and Management magazine is engaged in the research of port engineering structure, marine building materials, foundation treatment and waterway engineering construction technology. It has won about 40 major scientific and technological achievement awards from the State, the Ministry of Communications and Shanghai, and its scientific research achievements and products are widely used in coastal ports, docks and bridges in East China and South China.
The laboratory has participated in many experimental research projects of major projects, including the stress temperature field test during the construction of the cap of Donghai Bridge, the pile foundation test of Yangshan Deepwater Port, etc. Among them, the chloride ion permeameter independently developed has played an important role in many projects.
The laboratory now has a batch of international advanced engineering structure test equipment, which can be used for various structural tests and pile foundation tests of port structures and piles, especially field tests. Most of the existing main test equipment in the laboratory is imported. These instruments and equipment have the characteristics of intelligence, miniaturization, convenient detection and high precision. They have completely changed the mode of relying mainly on manual operation, judgment and data collation in the past. In the process of measurement, a microcomputer is used to control the whole process, and the corresponding supporting software is used to collect and analyze the data. The software is developed by Windows version, which is intuitive, fast and simple to use and operate, and greatly improves the work efficiency. The laboratory has obvious advantages in the field test of port structure and pile foundation, and has basically reached the domestic advanced level in static test equipment, indoor and outdoor static and dynamic data acquisition and test analysis system, and structural safety testing equipment. The three-way displacement meter made in Switzerland is imported from China for the first time. It can continuously monitor the three-dimensional displacement between two adjacent points. Compared with the traditional strain testing method, the survival rate of the measuring point is high and it is convenient to use. More importantly, it can directly obtain displacement values in three directions without calculating strain values, thus avoiding accumulated errors. This instrument is often used to observe the deformation of pile foundation and dam abroad, which represents the advanced level of this kind of testing technology.

The Key Laboratory of Dredging Technology is a large-scale, comprehensive and advanced experimental platform for dredging technology, and also an important experimental base to catch up with the advanced level of dredging technology at home and abroad. At the same time, it is also an open research center for dredging engineering and dredging market, and strives to provide first-class professional technical services for China's dredging industry and domestic counterparts.
The laboratory has a testing hall and testing center with a total area of 1500 square meters, as well as a large number of indoor and outdoor testing and analysis instruments and equipment. The testing center has a material laboratory, a mechanics laboratory and a geotechnical laboratory. The dredging flume and dredging trolley system of 50m× 5m× 2m is the largest in China at present. This key laboratory was newly built in 2002, and has been undertaking research on corresponding topics in infrastructure projects, including 863 environmental dredging research projects in more than a dozen countries, and won three national awards and four utility model patents.

The laboratory has 20 people, including 3 senior engineers at professor level, and has specialized rooms such as concrete materials laboratory, corrosion and protection laboratory, polymer materials laboratory, environmental engineering materials laboratory, building materials testing laboratory and engineering technology service department. The laboratory has 3000kN constant stress tester, seawater corrosion simulator, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, high-precision automatic potentiometric titrator, gas chromatography-mass spectrometer, concrete chloride ion corrosion tester, concrete pore structure tester, concrete adiabatic temperature rise tester and other high-end instruments and equipment representing the international material research field. The exposure test site established by 1986 is the earliest in China.

The Key Laboratory of Bridge and Tunnel Technology is mainly engaged in the research, development and application of bridge engineering and urban tunnel engineering construction technology, and is at the leading level in the research of long-span bridge construction technology in China. At present, there are 35 full-time employees and 3 1 guest researcher. The laboratory has more than 50 sets of various instruments and equipment. Since its establishment, * * * has completed 37 projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Communications, the Group and the Horizontal Linkage, provided technical services 100 times, and achieved a series of scientific research results.
The self-developed full-automatic hydraulic formwork climbing system, bridge suspension, descending bridge erecting machine and other scientific research achievements have reached the leading level in China, among which the full-automatic hydraulic formwork climbing system has been successfully applied to the construction of the main towers of Anqing Yangtze River Highway Bridge and Sutong Yangtze River Highway Bridge; Yunnan Yuanjiang Bridge, Jiangsu Wuhekou Bridge and Hubei E Huang Bridge all adopted hanging baskets in the construction of extra-large bridges. The south approach bridge of Junshan Bridge in the first phase of Wuhan light rail project is constructed by descending bridge erecting machine. The influence of seawater mud mixing on the durability of bored piles and the research results of marine concrete and rust inhibitor have been successfully applied to the construction of Hangzhou Bay cross-sea bridge. The earliest developed bridge mass concrete temperature crack control technology has been applied to the construction of many super-large bridges in China, enjoying a high reputation in the field of bridge mass concrete temperature control in China, and has been applied to large-scale bridge projects such as Sutong Yangtze River Bridge and Zhoushan Xihoumen Bridge.

The key laboratory of geotechnical engineering has strong professional and technical advantages in the same industry in China. It is one of the main units engaged in the study of soft soil foundation reinforcement mechanism in China. It has nearly 50 years of experimental research experience. Over the years, we have accumulated rich experience in the development of soft soil foundation reinforcement technology, theoretical research of port engineering foundation calculation, geotechnical engineering survey and design, geotechnical engineering field test, soft soil foundation reinforcement field test, geotechnical engineering indoor test, geosynthetics experimental research and so on, and achieved good results. Some achievements have reached the domestic or international advanced level. The research on the engineering properties of offshore marine soil and soft soil and their interaction with structures, the in-situ testing and observation technology of geotechnical engineering, the reinforcement or reinforcement technology of soft soil structures, etc., have maintained the domestic advanced or leading level, and some research results have reached the international advanced (or leading) level.
The laboratory has undertaken many national, provincial and ministerial projects, such as "vacuum preloading reinforcement technology" completed during the Sixth Five-Year Plan and "offshore CDM construction method" completed during the Ninth Five-Year Plan. At the same time, he also presided over and participated in the compilation of several specifications.
