Zhao Jianhua

Nowadays, many primary and middle school students are learning flute, because flute plays an important role in the music of symphonies, movies and TV plays. People are often attracted by its transparent, gorgeous and mellow timbre, so they especially like it-love it and want to master this instrument as soon as possible to express their feelings. But without the guidance of famous teachers and strict training, it is difficult to reach a certain level. Nowadays, many students play very irregularly, and even don't spit, and there are no complete phrases. They like to breathe in the middle of the melody. This irregular performance can't show a complete musical image. Here, I'll talk about how to play and use ligatures and vowels.

First, the practice of continuous reading

What is a hyphen? Legacy means that the connection between sounds is free, smooth and complete without interruption, so it feels like a bridge. For the method of playing Legato, it is suggested to practice more long notes, intervals, scales and arpeggios, and work hard on Legato of one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight degrees. The pop-up Legato should be coherent and round, and the connection between voices should have the feeling of rainbow without edges and corners. Luck should be in place, the tone should be concentrated, there should be no noise, and the rhythm should be stable. Play with two bets 1 or four bets 1. Be careful not to lift your fingers too high, and there must be a sense of flow between notes. Reference exercises "The Maiden of Alec City" and Bach's "Sonata in E Major, First Movement". In the performance of Legato, we must pay attention to the use of Qi. When your mouth is open, breathe in at one breath and never lift your shoulders. Be sure to relax your upper body and suck your breath to the diaphragm (Dantian), because as the sound continues, there will be less and less gas stored, and problems will occur if you don't have enough gas. You will be out of breath at the meeting, your mouth will be tense, your pronunciation will be unclean and your intonation will be inaccurate. In the process of playing, it is necessary to adjust the speed and angle of airflow at any time to produce the best sound, and with the sense of music, the Legato is perfect.

Second, pronunciation practice

What is spitting? It is a short sound in a long sound, which is formed by cutting the long sound in the airflow into pieces through the continuous movement of the tip of the tongue, and the tongue is like a knife. If you master it well, every short note will be like a pearl, achieving a bright artistic effect. It is a skill that must be mastered in all kinds of wind music. In my opinion, students can practice in any free time on the way after school. First of all, when practicing inhaling and playing a long sound, don't break the sound, keep your tongue tilted, tap the gum position of the upper and lower incisors with the tip of your tongue, and send TTTT letters in your mouth, gently, not too heavy, practice one more long sound, practice your tongue's endurance and ensure your tongue's flexibility. Each note should be connected in series, so as to be coherent, clear and soft, and don't forget to breathe. In fact, there is not much difference between sounding and playing long notes. Of course, there are many ways to pronounce words. What I said today is the general single sound. Please refer to Exercise: Kohler OP33 Question 4. And Bach's a major unaccompanied sonata. It is worth noting that the pronunciation of tenor and bass in flute is really difficult to master. Tenors tend to be harsh and bass tend to be dull and weak. So it takes some time to practice the high and low areas.

Rome was not built in a day, so the use of conjunctions and spit words must be practiced for a long time. Playing the flute, with good timbre and good technique, does not mean that you are a good performer, and you must work hard on your sense of music. When playing any work, you should put your feelings into it, sing with your heart while playing, and integrate the notes with your feelings. Students are advised to listen to the performances of famous artists at home and abroad. There are a lot of audio-visual materials on the market, especially listening to the chief performance of the Berlin Philharmonic, Marxism-Leninism Emmanuel Pahud. He is an artistic master who plays Legato and vowels very well. He often enjoys his concerts to improve his playing skills to some extent. Through continuous pursuit of learning and strict requirements on basic skills, students' performance level will definitely reach a new level. Let's work together!
