Reflection and Reconstruction of Corporate Social Responsibility
At present, food safety has become the focus of the whole society. Food safety is not only related to consumers' health and life safety, but also to economic development and social order stability, and to the construction of a harmonious society and the image of the government. The recent frequent food safety accidents have once again touched the fragile nerves of consumers. From the problem blood swallow to beef sauce, from the bacteria escaping from the net to the Ferrero chocolate bug incident, these negative news constantly touch people's psychological bottom line, consumers talk about food color change, and food safety is facing a serious crisis of trust. In recent years, although the state has continuously strengthened the supervision of food safety, the overall situation of food safety in China is not optimistic, and the more serious consequence is the crisis of consumers' trust in food enterprises. Therefore, establishing and strengthening the social responsibility consciousness of food enterprises is the main way to solve the trust crisis.

I. Food safety and corporate social responsibility

1, food safety is facing a crisis of confidence.

(1) Clenbuterol incident. 20 1 1 CCTV broadcast a special program "The Truth of Bodybuilding Pigs" on March 15 Consumer Rights Day, exposing the fact that Shuanghui Company in Jiyuan, Henan Province used lean pork. As a well-known enterprise of meat processing food, Shuanghui ignores national laws and regulations and people's life safety in the process of pursuing economic benefits, and uses lean pork as raw material, which exposes the lack of corporate social responsibility.

(2) Data analysis of complaints received by the National Consumers Association. Recently, China Consumers Association published a set of complaint acceptance data in official website. The data shows that in 20 1 1 year, the National Consumers Association * * accepted 39,082 complaints about various foods, an increase of 12.3% compared with 34,789 in 201year, of which two thirds were related to quality, and there were 24,860 complaints about quality problems.

(3) Ten issues of corporate social responsibility in China. According to the information released by China Academy of Social Sciences, the top five topics of corporate social responsibility (public election) in China in the next three years are water crisis, insufficient fresh water resources and serious pollution. Pollution, air pollution, urban noise and garbage pollution, pesticide and fertilizer pollution; Food safety issues and consumer health are affected; Land degradation, insufficient arable land, and hidden dangers in food security; Excessive housing prices affect market order and people's lives. Food safety has ranked third, reflecting the seriousness of food safety problems from the side. With the development of society and the progress of science and technology, people's attention to food has shifted from quantity to quality and safety, so food safety has become the focus of social attention.

2. The definition and present situation of corporate social responsibility.

(1) The definition of corporate social responsibility. Since the 1970s, foreign scholars have made a lot of explorations on the theory of corporate social responsibility, and there has been a heated debate on whether enterprises should undertake social responsibility. Until the 1980s, the business and theoretical circles reached a consensus that enterprises should assume social responsibility. Regarding the definition of corporate social responsibility, the famous ones are: corporate social responsibility level and domain model, corporate citizenship theory and stakeholder theory.

Carol put forward the famous four-level theory (economy, law, morality and charity) in 1979. In 2003, he and Schwartz used Venn diagram to explain and put forward a new three-field model of corporate social responsibility. These three fields are economic, legal and moral fields. The economic field is "those activities that intend to have a direct or indirect positive economic impact on enterprises", the legal field is "the response of commercial enterprises to the legal norms that reflect the wishes of social rulers", and the moral field refers to "the corporate moral responsibility expected by the general public and stakeholders".

(2) The actual situation of corporate social responsibility in China. Compared with foreign countries, China's corporate social responsibility started late. Article 5 of the Company Law in 2006 clearly introduced the concept of corporate social responsibility, that is, "A company engaged in business activities must abide by laws and regulations, abide by social ethics and business ethics, be honest and trustworthy, accept the supervision of the government and the public, and assume social responsibilities". At present, there is a big gap between China and foreign developed countries in corporate social responsibility. Take the questionnaire survey organized by the Competitiveness Research Center of China Business Daily as an example. "The questionnaire involves the question of corporate social responsibility:' What do you think of the current situation of corporate social responsibility in the market environment?' 975 people answered this question, and the results showed that 947 of them thought the situation of corporate social responsibility was' not very good' or' very bad', accounting for 97% of the total sample. Only 3% said it was very good, and 36% answered' very poor', which was 12 times of the former. Judging from these statistics, there is a big gap between corporate social responsibility and ideal state in China, and the sense of social responsibility is still very weak. Idea is the forerunner of action, and corporate social responsibility is not strong. How can we really implement the responsibilities that should be assumed from action and practice?

"In real life, in the process of pursuing interests, some enterprises, including well-known enterprises, ignore people's life safety and national laws, violate disciplines and regulations, manufacture and sell fake goods, and add cheap and harmful substances to save costs, which will lead to a series of safety accidents, exposing a serious lack of corporate social responsibility. In fact, enterprises and society are closely linked, and it is impossible to survive and develop alone without society. " If an enterprise can balance the relationship between long-term and short-term interests, personal interests and social welfare, and assume corresponding responsibilities to all stakeholders, then economic, social and other forces will in turn become the forces supporting its continued development and growth.

3, the consequences of the lack of corporate social responsibility

The lack of corporate social responsibility will cause a series of adverse consequences. First of all, enterprises shoddy, confuse the fake with the real, and add harmful substances, which pose a serious threat to the life safety of consumers. Secondly, corporate products are the representatives of corporate image, corporate social responsibility is not strong, attention is paid to immediate interests, and the production of substandard food is not conducive to corporate reputation and overall coordinated development in the long run. Thirdly, once a food safety accident occurs, it may cause consumers to distrust the whole industry. Taking Fuyang milk powder as an example, this accident triggered a crisis of confidence and resistance of consumers to the whole dairy industry, which easily left lingering scars on consumers.

Second, the reflection on corporate social responsibility-analysis of the reasons for the lack of responsibility

First, enterprises are driven by interests, thus putting interests first and not paying attention to food safety. The world is bustling, all for profit; The world is bustling for profit. Profit maximization is the foundation and key to the survival of enterprises. As the old saying goes, "Where the interests lie, although there are thousands of waters in Qian Shan, there is no end; Under the abyss, everything is everywhere. "In the face of interests, some enterprises and company executives were carried away, lacked long-term vision, and chose short-term interests in the game with consumers, thus taking the wrong step. As a result, it can be imagined that this zero-sum game with consumers will only do more harm than good, not only harming consumers' interests, but also ignoring the authority of national laws and policies and damaging the image of enterprises, which is likely to ruin the development prospects of enterprises and make them decline.

Secondly, as far as food safety is concerned, the lack of corporate social responsibility in China is also related to the lack of early warning mechanism for food safety risks. In 2006, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine proposed to gradually establish and improve the food safety early warning system. Compared with developed countries, in the past few years, China is still quite weak in food safety risk analysis and preventive measures. In developed countries such as Europe and America, risk early warning mechanism has become the most important link in food safety management.
