According to the Measures for Handling Dissertation Falsification (hereinafter referred to as the Measures) implemented by the Ministry of Education on 20 13, if an applicant's dissertation is purchased or written by others, his degree application qualification may be cancelled, and all degree-granting units may not accept his degree application again within three years.

For degree-granting units that have the behavior of buying and selling dissertations and writing dissertations on their behalf, the enrollment plan should be reduced according to the seriousness of the case. The national department in charge of academic degrees may suspend or revoke the qualification for conferring academic degrees in corresponding disciplines and majors, and the relevant departments shall investigate the responsibility of the person in charge of the directly responsible unit in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state.

Students who participate in purchasing and writing dissertations will be expelled from school. Those who have obtained academic certificates and degree certificates shall be revoked according to law. Registered academic certificates and degree certificates shall be cancelled and reported to the education administrative department for invalidation.

The act of writing and buying and selling graduation thesis is not only academic fraud that violates academic ethics, but also likely to undermine the management order of national examinations and academic diplomas and impact the national education order.
