Preface to The Last Mastiff
This is a rock-breaking story, which tells us that those lovely and respectable Tibetan mastiffs would not have died so tragically if people had not intervened excessively in the harmonious nature. This is a dog's martial arts legendary novel. Tibetan fairy tales, Tibetan philosophy and Tibetan customs are all displayed in front of everyone through the movements of dogs. The Tibetan mastiff on the grassland is so charming, so loyal, so enthusiastic, so brave and fearless, so pay attention to fair competition ... even killing people is so wonderful and thrilling. Tibetan mastiffs take us back to the original and pure plateau, back to the Tibetan land with clear springs. There, there is no plot against people, only unity and courage in the face of strong enemies. We can't witness the scene of mastiffs competing for supremacy with our own eyes, but we can only listen to the author's story about its glory. The author takes us back, back to the world of mastiff, back to the purity that is being forgotten in our hearts. Facing the Tibetan mastiff, it seems to be facing a heroic hero. At the end of the story, I am still reluctant to part. I dream of visiting the wild years, being close to those fierce and loyal partners, and wanting to be them, and hunting freely on the endless grassland, such as lightning, thunder, lion fighting, wolves without souls and leopards without courage. This is an absolutely first-class animal work in the history of human literature. It is outstanding in realism, symbolism, thought and literary choice. To my surprise, the author truly described the living conditions of this magical plateau dog breed in words, the thrilling fighting, the earth-shattering loyalty and dignity, their birth, their death and even their mating, all of which were described so romantically and beautifully. Through the Tibetan mastiff, human beings have harvested heavy fruits: morality, conscience, responsibility, kindness, compassion, kindness and courage ... The Last Mastiff magnified our desires and needs, and in the collective reading carnival, it broke our armor-like hard shell and let us know another warm cultural situation.
