Introduction to civil engineering
I love civil engineering and see China, with a hundred years in Shanghai, five hundred years in Beijing, two thousand years in Xi and three thousand years in Shaanxi. What is worth seeing in Shanxi? Look at humanities, geography and architecture. In the north of Shanxi, there are the Hanging Temple of Hengshan Mountain in Datong, the Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian County in Shuozhou, the Jinci Temple in Taiyuan in the middle, the Qiao Family Courtyard in Qixian County, Pingyao Ancient City, and the Yao Temple in Linfen and the Imperial City in Jincheng in the south. These ancient buildings, which have gone through thousands of years, have been telling the ancient history and culture of Shanxi for future generations. I'm from Shanxi. Some people say that Shanxi people are homesick. I'm proud of it. It is because Shanxi people are homesick that so many ancient buildings in Shanxi are well preserved. Now China is developing rapidly, and Shanxi is no exception. I remember when I was in primary school, my family still lived in several small bungalows in a hospital. When I was in junior high school, my family moved into a spacious building with two rooms and one living room. Now all the family areas have become units of 100 square meters. People's living standards have improved. With the improvement of living conditions, our quality of life is getting higher and higher. My hometown is in a mountain village in Yicheng. I will go back there during the summer vacation and live in a cave that is warm in winter and cool in summer. I have no pressure to study, so I can avoid the noise of the city and make my mind quiet. This is the original concept that architecture gave me-housing. I will fill in my volunteers after the college entrance examination, but I just choose my major instead of my school. At this time, the word "civil" made me come into contact for the first time. I have always been confident in my imagination and practical ability, and I also like the construction industry. Seeing that Shanxi Agricultural University has a major of "Agricultural Building Environment and Energy Engineering (civil engineering direction)", I filled in this major. It was the word "civil engineering" that brought me to Shanxi Agricultural University and the construction industry. Because it is an agricultural university, there is also "agriculture" in the name of the major, so I am a little unsure of my major. I often ridicule myself as a "pigsty builder", but I heard senior students say that "building a pigsty" is different from ours. I've been vague and I don't know what the difference is. Teacher Wang Shuangxi made it clear to us in the first class of "Introduction to Civil Engineering" and our "Building Ring" class. It's real civil engineering. Let me look forward to my major more and have a better vision for the future. Teacher Wang didn't tell us about this course according to the contents of the textbook, but told us his understanding and thoughts on civil engineering. You can read the book by yourself, but what the teacher said is something that is not in the book, which is more practical. The teacher said that the most important thing in civil engineering is building safety, whether it is a house or a classroom. Factory or office building, or underwater engineering, national defense engineering, safety bears the brunt. If safety is not guaranteed, how can we talk about architecture? I remember the teacher gave an example of a construction safety accident in class, saying that when Houma was building a bus station in Shanxi, the waiting room collapsed soon after it was capped. I am ashamed that I am from Houma, because the construction unit forced the capping before the concrete of the column was completely hardened in order to catch up with the construction period. The roof collapsed, causing two deaths and several injuries. No matter what position we are engaged in, no matter what project we are engaged in, we must always put safety first. China is building a conservation-oriented society and advocating harmonious coexistence with nature, which puts forward a new topic for China's construction industry. In the future, the buildings we want to build should be environmentally friendly, energy-saving and intelligent. Take energy conservation as an example. 40% of global annual energy consumption is used for residential buildings. If the energy consumption of every detail of the building can be minimized, it will not only save energy, but also free up more funds for other places. For example, the insulation of residential buildings can be divided into external wall insulation, internal wall insulation and internal wall insulation. The most commonly used and energy-saving thing now is external wall insulation. All of the above are now only concerned with building construction. Before starting a construction project, you need to make a lot of preparations, which is a necessary step, that is, management. Building is a multi-industry collaboration, completed by a single construction unit. It is impossible to cook without rice. To complete a project, there are the following nine links: 1. The feasibility study report requires the directly affiliated units with corresponding qualifications to write a report explaining why a project should be undertaken, the scale of construction and where the land comes from. Sources of funds, safeguard measures, etc. Second, report to the competent department for approval; Third, explore; Fourth, architectural design; Fifth, design audit; Whether the structure and strength can reach the index; Six, license to the local construction department to obtain building permits, health permits, land use permits, cultural relics protection certificates, building safety permits, electricity safety permits, sales permits, business licenses, etc. Seventh, bidding budget projects should be invited. Construction projects should be tendered, and supervision units should also supply tender materials. Eight. Construction can be divided into foundation construction, foundation frame construction and installation construction. Nine. After learning the Introduction to Civil Engineering, I have a more scientific and professional understanding of civil engineering. There are many links, and there will be many future employment directions. I am more and more interested in this complex but challenging industry. I want to be an architect in the future and design buildings that can represent an era and go down in history like "Bird's Nest" and "Water Cube". This is my idea: I want to build a comprehensive university in my hometown of Houma, with only one building as the main body of the university. From a distance, it looks like a multi-storey flower stand, and each floor has its sub-buildings, such as five or six-storey buildings, sports grounds, groves, artificial suns, mountains, rivers and so on. Each floor is like a theme park. The energy of the school is all renewable energy such as solar energy and wind energy, and the whole building can resist 12 earthquake. It will make Shanxi a surprise to the world. Dream+action. An Introduction to Civil Engineering just lets me know what I want to do in the future. What to do in the future requires me to study hard and enrich other professional knowledge related to architecture. I love civil engineering, and I want the world not only to see Shanxi in three thousand years, but also to see Shanxi tomorrow.
